Another awesome WiBS session!! We chatted Bitcoin & Crisis, focusing on the fiat funding of war. A super relevant topic today and, as per usual, rendered some immense interesting discussion. Thanks to all who came 🧡

FIRST MEET OF THE YEAR COMPLETED Over the weekend we met to discuss the topic of Bitcoin and Freedom. We had a fabulous mix of regular attendees and newcomers who were extremely eager to *finally* meet other women who share their interest in Bitcoin. We spoke for 3.5 hours and ran through a presentation that included various case studies of Bitcoin’s use as freedom tech & why it’s important to us as women. We are looking forward to meeting again next month for another few hours of vibrant conversation 🥳 🙌🏻

Women are the teachers of the next generation. Women in Bitcoin Sydney honours age old traditions of women gathering and exchanging information and opinions in a peaceful, female-only space. We then go home and teach our children and families what we have learned, immediately passing on insight to the next generation. Women are the ULTIMATE version of the peer to peer network.

We had our last WiBS of the year last Sunday and it was a lovely, casual end to 2025. This month we focused on the changing landscape in Australia regarding personal freedoms. We spoke in depth about freedom of speech, political communication, Libertarianism, homeschooling, and exit plans. I found it to be an extremely refreshing conversation to have with likeminded women. It’s always a pleasure having Bitcoin as the launchpad to share knowledge and experience of other areas of life. 🧡

Ladies of Sydney! Tomorrow we have our monthly meet at Ampersand Cafe & Bookstore in Paddington. We will chat about youth BTC adoption and exchange ideas about any other topics of interest. It will be a very casual meetup where you can ask or contribute anything you desire. Commencing at 11am. See you there!!

ANOTHER successful meet for Women in Bitcoin Sydney 🧡 Today we went ‘back to the basics’ and explored currency debasement, sound money, sovereignty, self custody, and decentralisation. It was such a lovely group (as always) with new and familiar faces. I also showed them the wonders of Lightning by using @Lightningcats21 as the example. Fantastic, furry, and fun. So keen for next month where I will choose a new topic to cover, more in depth. :)

Being blessed in many ways in the Western World, sometimes we forget the true immediate power Bitcoin has for others less fortunate

The failure of CPI and how Bitcoin is the yardstick that proves it. Helping Gen Z understand the issue and how the mechanisms around us reinforce it is the first step in opening their eyes to Bitcoin. It’s impossible for someone to comprehend the solution without first knowing the problem, and I’m on a mission to fix this.
