There's a cohort of American males that believe with 1-2 years dedicated practice they could win the Masters. As a marketer, it's important to understand that you can sell these people anything.

@UltraRunnerPod I thought CSU was facing severe enrollment decline. (For sure in-state enrollment at UC is soaring and competitive 😔 )

I'd heard how crazy the college admissions process is, but now seeing it in reality has blown my mind. My kid has great grades (4.2 weighted) with a ton of APs, leadership ec's, a very solid athletic resume, parents paying cash, etc., all at a private college-preparatory HS, and she has basically no chance of getting into a UC or CSU for her major. Not sure what needs to be done, but this is crazy. 🙄😩

We had an intern who was set to graduate with an accounting degree in May, quit after 3 days and when they called him to see if he was still coming in the 4th day he said no bc he had an existential type crisis about sitting in an office, at a desk, everyday and said he had already changed his major to “natural resource and forestry for becoming a park ranger” lmao I am happy for him

Because the alternative is to institutionalize severely disabled people. This keeps them with their family members For example, I know someone who has a young disabled son who has to sleep on a ventilator each night to stay alive and this program allows him to live with his family instead of hours away in a care facility If this program weren’t available, she would have to work 40 hours a week to institutionalize him. Because of it, she is able to provide him 24-7 care instead of a stranger

EXCLUSIVE: California spends $30 billion per year paying 800,000 people to cook, clean, shop, and watch television with family members and others. This "in-home care" program operates mostly on the honor system—and loses $6 to $12 billion a year to fraud. city-journal.org/article/califo…

Latinos will tell you the most traumatic thing to ever happen to them 2 minutes after meeting them for first time and then end the conversation with “pero gracias a dios, todo esta bien” 🙃
Jellyfish Loli 🪼@LoliCoded

I grew up in Mexico so I never knew what “trauma dumping” was cause Yknow everyone there has a crazy strange story and drops it in the middle of a crowded taco stand. But I recently came to Canada and had a moment where I went Ohhh so THATS what you guys meant
