Christian. Reformed. Presbyterian. Husband. Father. RPTS Master of Theological Studies Psalm 32:2a Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity.

Christ died for all so that, upon the condition of faith, they may be saved. Christ so died for all of God’s elect that they should infallibly be brought to faith.

Romans 7:15–20 isn’t a prooftext against LFW in a strict philosophical sense. Paul is describing the internal conflict of the regenerate man, not writing a metaphysics of the will. So no, I didn’t make a syllogistic refutation. That would be a category mistake. The point is simpler. Paul, "I do what I do not want… I practice what I hate." That’s not a picture of a neutral will with equal power to choose otherwise. It’s a renewed will in conflict with indwelling sin. Which is why Romans 7 sits so uncomfortably with the intuitive LFW model.

@MarkMacdonald75 @rootcausesleuth God is immutable unable to sin; to claim He is able to change some share their lust on X: Rom 1:23-25 changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man.. in the lusts of their hearts.. worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator

Tragedy of Hugs Christ learned obedience by suffering (Heb 5:8) Disobedient wrongly deal with pain Desiring love, not Christ, to rid pain Hugs birth pride in him, "Love me, love me, all must love me" Rev 1:5b To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood

NOW - Netanyahu: "Jesus Christ has no advantage over Genghis Khan. Because if you are strong enough, ruthless enough, powerful enough, evil will overcome good."
