I appreciate you asking. In short, "the end" does not mean the earth is destroyed. It means the end of this current age of human rule. Revelation 11:15 states, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever." Jesus will return to establish a physical kingdom on earth where there is true justice.
However, before that kingdom begins, there is a period of severe judgment on a world that has rejected God. This judgment unfolds in three specific series: seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls.
This timeline officially begins with the first seal. Revelation 6:1-2 states, "Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals... And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer." This rider brings a false peace, which will likely begin with the signing of a major treaty in the Middle East.
No one can survive the coming judgment on their own merit. We all have done wrong things. Romans 3:23 explains, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That sin separates us from God.
That is why Jesus came the first time. Romans 5:8 says, "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." He lived a perfect life, took the penalty for our sin by dying on the cross, and then He rose from the dead. Heis the only rescue from what is coming.
To be saved and secure eternal life in His kingdom, you must follow Romans 10:9: "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Admit that you are a sinner, believe that Jesus paid your penalty, and confess Him as Lord. It is a free gift. You can pray and ask Him for that right now.
