As we sit on the doorstep of another Cardinals season, I figured now was a good time to introduce myself to all the new followers of Redbird Farmhands and what you can expect from me this upcoming season. First, my name is Tyler Gettinger. I am a college student who came to love the Cardinals through family ties dating back generations, and my true passion for the Cardinals' Minor Leagues took off about 5 years ago, after I was able to attend multiple Springfield Cardinals games (Andre Pallante got the start in my first ever Springfield game). After following the Minor Leagues for a few years, I decided to create the Redbird Farmhands brand in the early summer of 2024 to help share in the enthusiasm and help inform other fans about the up-and-coming Cardinals players. Ever since then, you guys have done nothing but support me along the way, and I'm grateful for that, and am excited to keep posting content for you guys. Where can you find my content this season? 1. Right here 🔽 As I have done the two seasons prior, I will continue to have my daily farm rundowns from all the games in the system, including the FCL and DSL. Something that I introduced late last season and will continue this season is my highlights after every day, as well as my weekly player of the week, and end-of-season awards. All of this on top of my daily tweets about specific things going on around the system. 2. @Redbirdsonarch My podcast with my good friends @AidanG_Baseball and @zumwalt_tyler we have a laid-back atmosphere where we talk everything Cardinals baseball, with a bit of general MLB and other sports thrown in there as well. We have also been lucky enough to have some players on as special guests, so you should go check that out. We are on both YouTube and Spotify at Redbirds on the Arch. 3. Cardinalsprospects.com My writing and article home, we have some big stuff coming this season over at Cardinals Prospects. An expanded team with some very good writers should allow us to provide you with some of the best content on the Cardinals Farm system and the MLB Draft in the Cardinals community. @KareemSSN, @AidanG_Baseball, @TaylorCrews1991, @PeytonStats, and I were joined by newcomer @mqstats over the offseason, and if you don't follow any of these guys yet, you should, because they all put out great content ( I am a little biased). 4. @DealinTheCards and @birdsonthefarm I joined Dealin' the Cards over the offseason, and Josh, Sandy, and Andrew have been great to work with. If you want a lot of my prospect analysis straight from me, this is the place you'll find that in video form. Creating an Avengers-type team with this group has been really fun, and a big 2026 is ahead for this group. With that, let the 2026 season begin. It's going to be a fun rollercoaster year, and I'm excited to experience it all with you. GO CARDINALS😀

Just sitting here laughing about all the Cardinals fans clamoring for Nelson Velazquez who are going to absolutely hate him once he gets a run of everyday at bats. (He should platoon with Church, imo)

Europeans love complaining about Americans but every American I know cares about being respectful when traveling. The only rude people I’ve ever encountered in NY are European tourists. No tipping, no spatial awareness. They’re the ones who disregard local customs when traveling

@WordRebellion Bernie Miklasz and I put one of these together -- really taking a look at what happened in the minors, how it got that way, and building off of reporting both he and I did beyond the podcast. I'll try to find a link. But it's a Best Podcast in Baseball episode from 2024.

@dgoold Hi Derrick, I enjoy & appreciate your work. Something I think would make a great podcast is a deep dive "autopsy" of the years of decisions & circumstances that led to the Cards falling from one of the smartest org's in the game to where they are now. Thanks.
