they started the same time as you smaller audience tbh content wasn't even that good now they're posting screenshots "first $1k month" and you're still rewriting the same offer description in the same notion page opened six weeks ago you've thought it I am saying it out loud

@litteralyme0 everything is dark in other seasons. I don't care how much people hate on summers, I love it and I am ready to burn under the sun.

you know that specific moment. notion open. offer half written. you read it back. "this isn't good enough yet" close tab. you've been in that moment for three months staright. the offer isn't getting better btw. you're just getting more comfortable with not shipping it.

@OGkaizenworld highly agree, but what makes me close insta ins't putting it down, it is knowing that I have much more fun things to do.

I knew I should close Instagram. Felt it after the first minute. Closed it anyway. Opened it again thirty seconds later. That loop ran for two hours. The worst part isn't the time you lose. It's that you know exactly what's happening, And you keep going anyway. That's the trap. It's not that you don't have discipline. It's that the app is built to beat discipline. Every scroll is a variable reward. Sometimes funny, sometimes interesting, mostly garbage. But your brain can't stop checking. I had DMs to send. Engagement to do. Real work sitting right there. And I chose the crap. Not because I'm lazy. Because resisting something designed by engineers to be unputdownable is genuinely hard. The fix isn't motivation. It's not keeping your phone in another room. It's knowing that every hour on Instagram is an hour your competitor used to get ahead. That thought closes the app faster than anything else.

My coworkers on the construction site used to roast me for trying to build an online business. Last year I made more from one email launch than they make in 3 months. Bet on yourself even when nobody else will.

your idea isn't bad. your niche isn't wrong. your audience isn't too small. you just never made the thing clear enough simple enough specific enough to feel confident saying "here. buy this." that's it. that's the whole problem. it was never about the idea.
