Well, I finally got a prognosis on Bryson's illness, and he definitely has Cushings, with a large mass on his Adrenal gland! 😔 I will be starting him on medication to see how he responds, and surgery is an option, but NO GUARANTEES! A lot to think about.......🙏💔 but until then...Bryson will live his best life! 🫶🐕❤️

Good morning, my beautiful 𝕏 fam from Texas ☕️🌧️🌾💛 Last night, I fell asleep to the rumble of deep Texas thunder… the kind that doesn’t just shake the sky, but rattles something deep down in your soul. Out here on the prairie, you can truly hear it. There’s no city noise to drown it out… just that rolling thunder echoing across the hills and open land like the heavens themselves are speaking. ⚡️ And maybe I’m crazy for thinking this way, but sometimes I wonder… if thunder could talk, what would it say? Because I swear the sound changes, the feeling changes… and somehow that has to mean something. Maybe the land understands a language we forgot how to hear. Listening to the rain spill from the gutters like tiny waterfalls was pure peace. The steady patter on that old tin roof filled the night air like an old familiar song. Soft. Timeless. Healing. Truly a blessing from the high heavens. 🌧️🤍 I closed my eyes and tilted my face toward the sky, and for a moment, I could almost see my grandpa smiling down at me… those kind blue eyes full of understanding. I know he saw the tears I’ve cried over this land, just like he once cried too. But today, I’m not crying. Today, I stand in the tranquility of this rain we had with a full heart, feeling the blessing in every single drop. Because rain brings life. Slowly and gently it seeps into the cracks of this weathered Texas earth… just like hope seeps back into us when we need it most. Here on my little Texas farm, this clean gentle soak is kissing my rolling fields and giving my colorful garden the drink she’s been praying for. The grass looks greener, the air smells sweeter, and for the first time in a while, everything feels still in the best kind of way. 🌱 Here’s to muddy boots, green pastures, coffee on the porch, and a day that feels like God Himself is smiling down on this little farm of mine.
