Theta Node optimization on the main router. I have 3 nodes running on one network. I have 3 routers connected via Ethernet Cat 6 Cables. Cloudfare Speedtest 14.7ms Latency 2.25 ms jitter 0% packet loss Download 700mb Upload 800mb 3 Theta Nodes on one network – Router Setup Summary Find the Theta Node Address by using CMD Prompt. Press Windows Key + R Type: cmd (Run as Administrator) Press Enter Type: ipconfig Look for the IPv4 Address - this is the Theta Node Address. Do this on every computer that the Node is running. Example IP addresses were changed to protect my network. ✔ Assign each node a static LAN IP (DHCP reservation) Example: 192.168.0.200 192.168.0.230 192.168.0.250 ✔ Assign each node a unique listening port Node 1 → 16888 Node 2 → 16889 Node 3 → 16890 ✔ Update each node’s configyaml to match its port ✔ Create manual port forwarding rules on router: 16888 → 192.168.0.200 16889 → 192.168.0.230 16890 → 192.168.0.250 Protocol: TCP ✔ Disable UPnP (recommended for stability) ✔ Verify ports externally (e.g., open port checker) Set the DNS manually to: Primary: 1.1.1.1 Secondary: 1.0.0.1
