The Faith Kates–Epstein connection is now well documented. A Guardian investigation based on DOJ files found over 5,000 references to Kates, revealing a nearly 40-year friendship with Epstein involving secret business dealings, undisclosed financial arrangements, and what appears to be a deliberate effort to connect young women from her agency to a convicted sex offender. The correspondence continued through 2017, years after Epstein's 2009 conviction. In 2011, Epstein sent Kates a numbered list of women's names. She responded within hours: "I can get 2 that's what you asked me for stand by." Kates also co-founded Next with Jean-Luc Brunel, who was an Epstein associate and model management owner who died by suicide in jail while being investigated by French prosecutors for rape and trafficking of minors. Erika Kirk was said to be the point person allocated by Corcoran to Next Management to arrange accommodation for the agency's young women brought in from overseas. She specifically had the job of arranging apartments for the young models at what was described as a large white building in downtown New York on 68th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. That address is significant because Epstein's address book referenced the building as having "apartments for models" and according to civil filings the apartments were "used to house young women brought in from overseas and provided with living quarters, transportation and other benefits to secure compliance."
