Rhun ap Iorwerth made a trip to a nursery in Merthyr this morning. His first official photo op as FM - a signal we’re told to his commitment to their election childcare offer. But pushed on a timetable he said it could take years, up to FOUR, for it to be fully rolled out.

Disappointed I wasn’t called to speak in the Senedd this afternoon. It sat for less than 90 minutes today. Everyone was off home by 3.00pm. This isn’t good enough. The new Plaid Cymru separatist administration must be scrutinised and held to account.

The First Minister is wrong to have requested more Senedd powers and further devolution from the Prime Minister.
Labour and Plaid have made a complete mess of what we already have; if anything, devolution should be rolled back. A good start would be to scrap the Senedd expansion and commit to no further powers. This is a very popular position amongst the electorate.
