Apparently, this whole text was a transcript from Bill Tytla’s lecture on timing, but the research I’ve done shows Don Graham put together a manuscript prototype of The Art of Animation that Walt Disney refused to publish because he found it to scholarly and educational.

The rest of the text was a repeat of all I just quoted, for whatever reason, and I guess the left page talks about anticipation. All the research I’ve done led me to believe these were the words of Don Graham.

This is a page from the unreleased animation book “Walt Disney’s The Art of Animation”, as seen in “The Plausible Impossible”, available to watch on #Disney+. A few books have been released to try to make this book real, but none of them recreate the actual book and its layout.

I hate to be political, but #ReleaseTheArtofAnimation. That’s right, I’m using Eric Bauza’s words to strengthen my point. If you all could share this thread, spread awareness, maybe we can finally get every ounce of information from this legendary book.

If this kind of useful information was hidden in the book, who knows what the other unseen chapters were hiding. Granted, some of the text could be omitted, specifically the part about answering questions on Thursday, but Disney should’ve released the real book a long time ago.

@ZikadaPrime If it makes you feel better, perhaps this is because most people opted to buy the game digitally so they’d have it in their library forever, since it appears Nintendo’s going the route Xbox and PlayStation have gone with digital backwards compatibility going forward.

This shit makes me so sad 😤 Literally a game people begged to be remastered for ages, Nintendo delivers and then people don't buy it...

@moonrider64 I mean, it’s possible they used the original series as stock art for the new animators to use to produce the episodes fast instead of hiring someone who could design model sheets that could show how they’re drawn while also encouraging experimentation.
