@fringeblog A month, then I gave up on it. The AI fixed it, blue smoke up my skirt, and then I used what told me to come up with a far, far better ending and said everything I wanted to say in the script. AI is no creator, but it’s one heck of an informed organizer.

@fringeblog I did something I swear I would never do: I used Google Gemini to organize my beach sheet for a script, trying to find my sticking point. It didn’t create anything, it didn’t try and write it for me. But in four seconds it found the problem. It made my ending so much better. +

The regulation will catch up eventually. It always does. But the facilities will already be running. The permits will grandfather everything in place. The turbines don't stop when the legal framework finally notices them.

I guess it wasn't "novel" to track down 80 victims (all their names redacted from court documents, meaning I had to find them), convince 8 of them to speak to me, four on the record-- and on camera! Does anyone understand how difficult that was? It was so difficult that I contacted sexual assault psychiatrists to guide me so that I wouldn't re-traumatize them. 1/

My annoyance with all things Star Wars has worked a bit retroactively. I’d ignored watching Rogue One again because of that annoyance, but was surprised at how good a movie it is on rewatch. I wonder if more people have their past memories influenced by current criticism.
