Sound can elevate a film in so many ways. It can do a lot of heavy lifting to help tell your story, but it can also sink a film if it’s done poorly. Give sound artists proper time, resources & access, to collaborate early. Don’t treat it like an afterthought (5/5)

A thing that perplexes me about the film biz is that there’s a great chasm between production & post production, especially when it comes to sound. On most films the two sound department heads never interact. The supervising sound editor gets hired after production wraps 🧵 (1/5)
