🇬🇧 This is a scandal 🚨 The European Commission under Ursula von der Leyen is openly interfering in the elections in Hungary and has activated a tool to censor social media❗ The eurocrats’ so-called “defensive democracy” has gone all in. The Commission announced it has launched a “Rapid Response Mechanism" against disinformation, which will remain active until a week after the parliamentary elections scheduled for April 12. What does that mean in practice? Through the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA), platforms will cooperate with fact-checking organizations (of course very “objective” and never funded by EU money 🙃), to quickly censor content under the pretext of “fighting disinformation,” at their own discretion. It has already been reported that Facebook’s administration was able to block several media pages considered pro-government (under the familiar label of “community standards violations”), which had hundreds of thousands of followers, while the Government of Hungary has accused the platform of limiting its reach. In short — these degenerate EU pseudo-elites, steeped in various corruption scandals, will decide which content Hungarians are allowed to see on social media and which they are not. Von der Leyen and her circle are once again using their instruments of influence to interfere in the democratic elections of a sovereign state and shape the outcome! The United States House Judiciary Committee recently revealed that the European Commission interfered in eight elections across member states and pressured social media platforms into censorship. This allegedly includes the Netherlands (2023 and 2025), France (2024), Ireland (2024 and 2025), Moldova (2024), Slovakia (2023), and Romania (2024). Political posts and statements that did not align with the EU’s left-leaning narrative were reportedly censored even right before voting. What ended up in the crosshairs? Anything even loosely connected to the right, conservatism, or the migration crisis in the EU. Now it appears they want to “rig” the elections in Hungary, using their capabilities to censor Viktor Orbán and his party Fidesz, thereby supporting Péter Magyar and TISZA Party. This is what “democracy” looks like in their version — full-scale euro-communism. Let’s hope Hungarians do not give in to this pressure. And the European Commission itself, led by von der Leyen, after all these scandals and controversies, is losing any legitimacy to govern and should resign — and ultimately be dismantled as an institution. People who are not even directly elected by citizens are brazenly violating the law, breaching EU treaties, and imposing their dictates. European Commission — hands off free citizens and their nations!

If public officials are found committing fraud or wilfully wasting billions of our money, they should go to prison. I told the most senior ministry of defence civil servants exactly that.

Labour’s Islamophobia definition is unlawful and infringes free speech. Atheists such as Richard Dawkins could be silenced by Labour’s new anti-Muslim hostility definition. Dawkins has regularly criticised Islam for its oppressive qualities. The Free Speech Union has sent a pre-action letter to the Communities Secretary, threatening judicial review if the definition and guidance are not withdrawn immediately. In our letter, we also warned about the chilling effect this definition will have on women’s ability to comment on and critique aspects of Islam, and the acts of those who follow it, that are deeply harmful to women in particular. “For example, women, and indeed Muslim women (in particular) may feel inhibited from speaking about actions such as so-called ‘honour killings’ where such speech may be labelled and regulated as anti-Muslim hostility”. The definition could also hinder campaigners working to expose practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), predatory grooming gangs, and abuses of women’s rights. Another problem is that this definition could penalise people simply for recounting historical events. This could impact Sikhs, for example, when marking the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur, who defended the Hindu faith against Muslims. In our letter, we warned that the definition and guidance could lead to “offensive comments” — or perfectly legitimate expressions of free speech — being logged as “anti-Muslim hostility”. This would create a new form of non-crime hate incident (NCHI), inhibiting public debate while wasting police time and taxpayers’ money. This official definition is a Muslim blasphemy law by the back door, which will silence public debate and legitimate criticism of Islam, its practices, and its history. Read more below 👇
