@geoffpilkington @PolymarketBlitz His steps were off. His back heal is almost in front of the placement which should be aligned with the arch of his plant foot. The hold was not terrible and somewhat slanted down which creates better trojectory.

@PolymarketBlitz Why is that bizarre? It was Gillan’s fault. With that hold any kicker would have shanked it, so he stopped. The ball was practically sideways and he was already in motion.

@PolymarketBlitz He either stepped it off wrong or his first step toward the placement was further than normal which had his plant foot too close to the ball and virtually impossible to kick. That’s very unusual and he obviously lost his focus.

@tannernau15 I never once gave any grief to my snapper or placer. If I missed, I took the heat! There were clear times it was not my fault but I still kept my mouth shut. He lost focus period!

As a former 3x All-Conference FG holder, I find this so gross. The ball got down in time; laces were out. Make the kick or don't say anything at all.

@TErnestos @Trenciarte His biggest mistake was waiting for the ball to hit the placers hands. He didn’t even move until then, which increases the chances of a block and is a HUGE NO-NO at that level. The ball then came off in a helicopter type flight prior to the block. His attitude sucked.

@TErnestos @Trenciarte I’m with you, same here, ex collegiate kicker. There’s always going to be bad snaps or funky placements. You adjust in the last millisecond. There was nothing wrong with this snap and hold. He lost his focus 100%!

@Wunderdog34 @Trenciarte The fact the kicker even knew the snap was high, makes me think there was a lack of focus. That's not where your focus should be when you're kicking. I never saw where a snap went. I knew if my holder got it down or not.

@Trenciarte I say this as a former D1 kicker, with respect, that kid needs to shut the fuck up. That snap wasn't that bad. The holder got it down. He just missed it. A bad miss too. Dude needs to learn how to adapt and adjust. Thats his job as a kicker.
