Any side effects? Irreversible.
All that for elective surgery. You can fix your eyes without any butchering of the eyeball. Doesn't make money though so, so nobody tells you.

I still can't believe this worked as well as it did. Doctors put me under a laser for less than 20 seconds and now I have perfect vision all day. No glasses, no contacts, no dryness, just great vision without any hassle. I love technology!

@HarryCantein @levelsio A few months ago visiting London, i needed to buy a common asthma medication (salbutamol) and was surprised to discover I needed a prescription for it. So if I had an attack instead of simple buying it, I would need to go to a hospital emergency room

My mum, who lives in England, recently got a blood test. I wanted to put it through AI, but couldn't because the doctor didn't give her the results.
I live in the US, where I can get whatever blood test I want, and the results are emailed to me in 1-2 days.
It really feels like the UK is a nanny state.

I was never able to do blood tests when I asked for it in Netherlands
Doctor asked "why? you're not sick?"
Then I tried in Portugal (at Germano de Sousa) but they never picked up the phone or when they did were so slow and unhelpful I gave up, they also require a doctor prescription btw
The first place I could get my blood tested was Thailand in 2018, I just walked into Bumrungrad and asked for it, amazing experience
Last few years we just fly to Brazil and do it here, the nurse comes to your home/hotel at 8am and takes your blood, same or next day results online
I find it funny I keep having to fly out of Western Europe to do blood tests, they make it impossibly hard to do them

Too many bad stories with LASIK .. not worth it .. maybe SMILE but even then .. even ICL is not ideal because it filters out 99% of UVs
I believe it is possible to actually recover your eyesight, especially if you have myopia given some people have done it
