Three former soldiers will appear at Belfast magistrates court on April 20th. One is charged with a killing that took place in May 1972. He is not accused of acting outside his orders. He is accused of acting within them. The distinction no longer appears to matter. This is the reality behind Labour's Northern Ireland Troubles Bill, a piece of legislation dressed in the language of reconciliation that functions, in practice, as an engine of persecution. The state that sent these men to Northern Ireland, that gave them their orders, that relied on their judgment in circumstances no minister has ever faced, is now the state that funds the machinery pursuing them through the courts half a century later. That is not a technicality. It is the central fact. Taxpayer money flows to the lawyers challenging the actions of soldiers whose actions were sanctioned by the taxpayer. The government calls this justice. General Sir Peter Wall, who commanded the British Army for four years, calls it something without moral backbone. He is right. The operational consequences are already visible. Elite soldiers are leaving the SAS and SBS rather than face the prospect of prosecution decades hence for missions carried out under government orders. The crisis has become sufficiently acute that reservists are being brought into the regular SAS to fill roles vacated by those walking out. Britain's most capable fighting force is being quietly hollowed out by a bill whose architects appear indifferent to the result. Seven former SAS commanders have warned that the legislation is doing the enemy's work, that operational secrets exposed through inquiries give hostile states a narrative of lawless troops. Moscow, Tehran and Beijing do not need to discredit British special forces. Westminster is doing it for them. The asymmetry at the heart of this legislation is not incidental. It is structural. IRA members were released under the Good Friday Agreement. Many destroyed evidence, stayed silent, or received letters guaranteeing they would not be pursued. Soldiers kept records, gave statements, and remained traceable. Decades later, only one group remains available for scrutiny. Not because they are more culpable, but because they are more reachable. The Coagh ambush of June 1991 illustrates the logic perfectly. Three IRA men were stopped by the SAS on their way to murder someone. A coroner ruled the force used was justified. Years later a family challenged that ruling, arguing the soldier should have paused after each shot to consider whether to fire the next one. A judge described that argument as ludicrous and utterly divorced from reality. The challenge continues, funded by legal aid, heard at the Court of Appeal just days ago. No verdict ends the process. The process is the punishment. Keir Starmer has said publicly he is absolutely confident there will be no vexatious prosecutions. Three soldiers will be in a Belfast court in sixteen days. His confidence has not reached them. The government insists its bill provides robust protections for veterans. General Sir Nick Parker, who oversaw the final operations in Northern Ireland, says ministers do not understand the duty of the state to stand by those who serve it. The duty to stand by those who serve is contractual, not sentimental. A soldier who follows orders in a war the state authorised cannot later be offered up as payment for political convenience. What is being constructed here is not a legacy process. It is a permanent legal industry, sustained by public money, targeting the most traceable participants in a conflict the state itself waged. The soldiers kept their records. That is now their liability. A serious country does not behave this way. This one, apparently, does. "Keir Starmer has said publicly he is absolutely confident there will be no vexatious prosecutions. Three soldiers will be in a Belfast court in sixteen days. His confidence has not reached them."

Our 12-year-old nephew has gone viral across social media for his incredible bravery. He stepped in to protect his younger friend, who was being attacked by six older boys armed with weapons. Despite the overwhelming odds, he didn’t hesitate. He was knocked unconscious, and when he came to, one of them was standing over him with a machete to his neck. They were even filming him as he begged for his life. As a family, and as a city here in Dundee, we couldn’t be prouder of him. What he did took real courage — he stood up and protected his friend, knowing full well he was outnumbered and likely to lose. He absolutely loves Paddy “The Baddy” from the UFC and has a big passion for mixed martial arts, inspired partly by me. We know it’s a long shot, but if anyone out there knows Paddy or could help us reach him, it would mean the world if he could send a message of support to our wee hero. To us, that’s what true bravery looks like. If anyone in the MMA community could share this, it would mean so much to our family. Thank you ❤️ @WelshJoeMarsh

Plenty of politicians now saying a lot of words about protecting churches. One donated a month’s MP salary to repairing a local church in his constituency - thousands out of his own pocket. Just one. Rupert Lowe. Actions speak a lot louder than words.

Miracles Witnessed While Filming of The Passion of the Christ: ✝️ No Hollywood studio would agree to make The Passion of the Christ, so Mel Gibson decided to create his own production company and fund the entire film himself. While casting the role of Jesus, Mel Gibson warned Jim Caviezel: "Playing Christ will be incredibly difficult. If you do this, you'll likely be rejected by Hollywood." Jim took a day to pray. Then he told Mel: "We have to make it, even if it is difficult. My initials are J.C., and I am 33 years old. The same age as Christ. I didn't realize that until now." Mel paused: "You're really scaring me, you know." And hung up the phone. What followed was the most brutal movie role in Hollywood history. – Caviezel lost 45 pounds – Was struck by lightning twice – Whipped accidentally, leaving a 14-inch scar – Dislocated his shoulder – Suffered pneumonia & hypothermia after hanging the cross for hours in only a loincloth – Filming the crucifixion took 5 weeks – Later required TWO open-heart surgeries due to stress from the role And still, his purpose was clear: "I didn’t want people to see me. I just want them to see Jesus. Conversions will happen through that.” And they did: - Pedro Sarubbi, the actor who played Barabbas, said of Cavezel: “His eyes had no hatred... only mercy and love.” He later converted to Christianity. - Luca Lionello (Judas): Former atheist, converted to Christianity after the film & baptized his children - A Muslim technician on the movie converted to Christianity after the film. Countless millions around the world were converted to Christianity through the film. It grossed $611 million worldwide, becoming the most successful R-rated film in history. But more than that—it changed hearts around the world showing the true pain of Christ’s suffering. Jim Caviezel now proclaims Christ boldly: A role that nearly destroyed him became the one that saved countless others.

A British soldier served in Northern Ireland. Risked his life. Followed orders. Came home. He is now in his 70s. Keir Starmer’s Government has decided he deserves to spend his final years in court. The IRA got the Good Friday Agreement. The veterans got Keir Starmer. Remember that next time he talks about “values.”

BREAKING: THE FIRST CITY HAS FALLEN. 🇮🇷🔥 To everyone who said regime change would never happen: LOOK AGAIN. It is happening. Right now. In the streets of Abdanan, the Iranian people have done the unthinkable. They have taken back their city. The local police didn’t just stop—they laid down their weapons and sided with the people. 🤝✊ Let’s be clear: This isn't the work of Trump. This isn't the work of Netanyahu. This isn't about foreign militaries. The regime’s Army, Navy, and Air Force have been gutted from the inside, and now the Iranian people are the ones who are armed, angry, and unstoppable. They aren't waiting for a savior—they are saving themselves. The streets are on fire. The old guard is crumbling. The people are rising to take back what was stolen from them decades ago. History is being written in blood and fire tonight. Abdanan was the first. It will not be the last. THE REVOLUTION IS HERE. Regime Change in progress.

Dear X @Safety, There's an anonymous account called Tristan the Ginger @tristanginger66 that's devoted their presence on X to stalking women and reporting them for imaginary violations of X ToS. You know the type, bepronouned male womanface minstrelsy actors whose sole purpose seems to be to indocrinate the world's sane people into their degenerate lifestyle and to dog people they label as Terfs. He also promotes Arab Islamist terroristic colonization in the Middle East. He's doxxed a number women, included their employment info and their employer's email, suggesting that X users contact their employer while trying to have them lose the jobs on your app. Here are some examples of what he's been doing: x.com/tristanginger6… x.com/tristanginger6… x.com/tristanginger6… x.com/tristanginger6… x.com/tristanginger6… x.com/tristanginger6… x.com/tristanginger6… He seems dangerous to women and hopefully you can review his account from a safety and doxxing perspective. He may be a tiny and irrelevant account but his constant bad acts are a detriment to the X platform community. Thanks.

🚨 FEMALE MUSLIMS FLYING JIHADIST FLAGS IN LONDON THIS AFTERNOON 🧵 I don’t want to hear again from the Mayor of London about how tough it is to be a Muslim in Britain or from Muslim orgs claiming women are "on edge". People flying these flags are calling for violence. This was at the segregated protest outside the Jordanian Embassy where armies of the Ummah were called upon.🧵1/

Free for 270 years. Nobody ever asks why. 🇬🇧 In 1753 a British doctor called Hans Sloane died. He left 71,000 objects to the nation. On one condition. It must be free. For everybody. Forever. Parliament raised the money through a national lottery. And built the world’s first public museum. Not for the King. Not for the Church. For all of humanity. The idea was simple. Human history belongs to all of humanity. Not just the powerful. Not just a few. For everyone. 270 years later it still hasn’t charged a penny. 8 million objects. Two million years of human history. The Rosetta Stone. The Lewis Chessmen. The Sutton Hoo helmet. All of it free. Still today. The idea Britain invented in 1753 changed how the entire world keeps its history. This channel exists because people like you chose to make it happen. Thousands of stories like this one are waiting to be told. Battles won. Names forgotten. History that belongs to all of us but gets told to none of us. If you can afford to help keep it free for everyone else: proudofus.co.uk/support Be Part Of Us. Be Proud Of Us. 🇬🇧
