INCREDIBLE story from an INCREDIBLE man!
Rabbi Avi Weiss@RabbiAviWeiss

My wife Toby and I are in @Israel becoming citizens. At the Interior Ministry, the official reviewing our papers - a Jew who came from Ethiopia in 1991 - asked me for proof that I was Jewish. I showed him letters from our rabbi. As I did so, tears began to flow. I told him: “I remember the 1970s and ’80s, when we marched and protested so Ethiopian Jews could come home to Israel. Back then, many questioned whether Ethiopian Jews were Jewish at all. We insisted our Black brothers and sisters were as Jewish as any of us.” And now, 35 years later, here was a holy Ethiopian Jew confirming my Judaism. We had come full circle. Holding his hand, I sang: “Zeh hayom asah Hashem, nagilah ve’nismechah bo” - This is the day God has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Jews from East and West have returned home together. Am Yisrael chai v’yichyeh.

The Passover program industry has quietly become A $1.5 Billion a year industry, one of the most fascinating niches in the global travel market. Every year, roughly 300,000 Jews around the world spend Passover at fully kosher, all-inclusive resorts instead of preparing the holiday at home. What started decades ago in the Catskills has evolved into a global luxury travel industry. Today there are roughly 100–150 Passover programs worldwide, taking place across: • The United States • Mexico & the Caribbean • Israel • Europe • Morocco • Dubai • Costa Rica and more These programs typically run 10–12 days and include: • Glatt kosher gourmet meals • Seders and holiday services • Celebrity speakers & rabbis • Concerts and entertainment • Kids and teen programs • Chol Hamoed excursions • Luxury resort amenities The appeal is simple: Pesach preparation is extremely intense. Preparing a kosher-for-Passover home can take weeks of cleaning, koshering kitchens, and cooking dozens of meals. Many families choose to outsource the entire experience. Prices vary widely. Budget programs may cost $5,000–$8,000 per family, while mid-tier programs often run $10,000–$15,000. Luxury programs can exceed $40,000–$60,000 per family. A typical mid-sized program might host 400–600 guests, generating $3M–$6M in revenue in just 10 days. Large luxury programs with 800+ guests can generate $10M–$15M+. When you add everything together, the industry becomes massive. Estimated annual totals: • ~150,000 participants worldwide • 200 programs globally • Average spend: $3k–$5k per person That puts the direct Passover program industry at roughly $1.5B annually. And that doesn’t even include the massive surrounding ecosystem: • Kosher catering companies • Entertainment & speakers • Flights and travel • The kosher-for-Passover food market (a $1B+ seasonal industry on its own) For one holiday lasting just over a week, Passover has created one of the most unique travel industries in the world. A billion-dollar market built around matzah, maror, and the Seder table.

Today is certainly not just another day in this war. It is a reality check. Iran leveled an entire neighborhood in Arad, occupied Palestine, with a hypersonic missile. Israeli sources themselves admit around 20 buildings were wiped out, with hundreds dead and injured, and bodies still buried under the rubble. When 1,300 emergency responders are deployed to a single strike zone, you are not looking at an "incident", let's put it at that. An hour earlier, Dimona was hit. Multiple buildings destroyed, dozens injured and here is the message: Dimona sits just 9 km from Israel's nuclear reactor. Iran is no longer being subtle. It is saying out loud, next time, we won't miss the real target. Then came the psychological warfare. A warning to Doha aired and then retracted. "A mistake", they said. Maybe. Or maybe it was a message delivered exactly as intended and very well received. And now the biggest shift: Iran officially claims it controls Israeli airspace. This means future missiles will not just land, they will arrive unchallenged. No warnings, no interception, just impact. A direct consequence of systematically blinding the radar shield that once protected it. So basically, Iran will operate exactly the same way Zionist Israel has been operating over Iran, Lebanon and Yemen This is a game changer. Remember when by day 15, Israel and the U.S. were already declaring Iran "neutralized"? Day 23 just exposed how dangerously wrong that lie was. 1. They do not know how many missiles Iran has. 2. They do not know their true range. 3. And judging by the strike near Diego Garcia, which till now Iran has not taken official responsibility for, they have been underestimating it all along. This is a shift in doctrine. You see the holy month of Ramadan is over. In Islam, we are forbidden from "going to war" during that month. Iran was just defending itself. But now Eid Fitr is here, (happy Eid😉) and Iran began to show the aggressors what offensive means. And if this trajectory continues, do not be surprised if the world wakes up to something even bigger, a nuclear test, not as a first strike, but as a deterrent. Because right now, what is unfolding is no longer a contained conflict. It is the early signs of a historic defeat in the making; one that will surpass, Yom Kippur War.

IRAN WAR. Ok. I just met with an exceptionally well informed Swiss resident 🇨🇭 - a family friend and successful international investor. He told me that there is no question that Iran already has nukes. And has had them for years. He also said that banana prices in dubai have gone from 30 cents to three dollars and that onion prices have gone from 50 cents to 5 dollars. There is a week to ten days food supply there in a city of 4 million. If the desalination plants are hit there will be a serious water shortage. Personally from what I am seeing the decision to bomb Iran may be the biggest mistake that any american leader has made in history. Apparently Iran has been preparing for this for years. Iran is no Venezuela. They are a very proud people. Our friend told me that when perstroika happened some nukes that went missing were purchased at that by Iran. Iran is a vast country several times the size of France mountainous and resourceful. The idea that any invading force will come out unscathed is pure insanity. The west will be paying the price of this ill thought through decision for years. We are witness to a demonic blood lust by leaders who have no clue what they are up against. Of course he may be wrong. I hope he is. But sadly I doubt it. @RealCandaceO @TuckerCarlson
