First patient enrolled in the #ENGULF trial of the Helo Thrombectomy System for pulmonary embolism @NorthsideHosp Gwinnett. Also had the fortune of being the first in the world to use their 2nd generation system. Improving treatment options for PE patients. Forward!

Do you reverse your heparin at end of cases? I personally don’t after a couple bad experiences!

Always a great debate! For my CTLI patients, I recently have been using Celt with US guidance and I’m a huge fan to use it for diseased SFA/CFAs. HUGE fan. I’ve closed accesses now that I wouldn’t have even dreamed about before — and have done so safely. For young patients / healthy arteries Angio seal/Perclose are a nice second choice for me now. Agree that no device is perfect. Only the operator!! lol, completely jk
