As someone who plays a lot of blackjack and seen a lot of people playing suboptimally, I was curious about the EV of those who 'double for less.' If the player has a 11 and the dealer has a 10, obviously theres opportunity cost to doubling for less, if you get a 12 you cant hit again. So I simulated 20,000 hands where you have a 11 and the dealer has a 10 to see what ratio of your bet where its still positive EV to double instead of just hitting. The sweet spot seems to be about 33% of your bet, if you bet 100 dollars and you have 0-32 dollars in your wallet to 'double for less,' youre better off just hitting

Today I had the biggest disappointment with @Kalshi ever. Some days ago I got a ping from @luanalopeslara (Oi loirinha!) to participate in a contest where I could win a Billion, I just had to guess who would win some matches. I did my research, read the rules, learned everything about American football and submitted my picks. Today I got a sad email telling me I was disqualified for being Spanish 🇪🇸. It's not about the money, they stole my dream to be richer than @Domahhhh
