I want to dive in (and once and for all) to clarify this whole "Private [XRPL] Ledger" thing. It is so confusing out there for people. Lots of opinions, conspiracies, you name it. Let me clarify some key points: 1. XRPL is JUST CODE. You can download the code yourself here: github.com/XRPLF/rippled 2. The XRPL public ledger, is an instance of this code which a group of validators host/secure 3. By virtue, XRP holders, have agreed that this public ledger is in fact the main ledger, and XRP on this ledger is the ACTUAL token. And XRP holders do this by transacting a value to buy the token. 4. There is NO PRIVATE LEDGER in the sense that a parallel, value-driven and accepted ledger is running in secret. 5. What there is, is 1000s (who knows, just my guess) of INSTANCES of the XRPL, that people have downloaded and use. 6. Sheit, I have 3 of them on my Virtual Machines now. I have 3 instances of which I have 100BN XRP in the genesis wallets for all of them. This is MY private ledger 7. Ripple Payments "Dev Team", likely have 100s of XRPL that they test with. Why not use the XRPL Public TESTNET? To avoid snooping eyes seeing what they do. 8. Ripple customers will also be given "Ripple Payment" Sandpit/Test environments, hosted by Ripple, and they also provide a dedicted XRPL [private] testnet for each of their customers, so they too can test without snooping eyes seeing the onchain activity. 9. For Example, CitiBank, would have 1, 2 or even 3 Ripple Payment endpoints for testing... These endpoints might have simulation on/off ramps, payout partners liquidity providers, AMMs, DEX, you name it. The bank plays around in private. 10. This is no secret, it is the most common thing in software dev/engineering: DEV/TEST/UAT/SVT environments that are managed. And with all of the NDA's floating around, the last thing they need is a CryptoQueen or SmokeFrog checking out transactions on the public XRPL and posting "WE GONNA MOON, XRP WAS CHOSEN BY CITIBANK". And so, yes, private ledgers exist, but they are just instances setup for sofrware engineering development. Of course (don't beat me up!), this is just my opinion. I am not saying a "Private" ledger running XRP at $10,000k on DEX is impossible, just that it is IMPROBABLE. Ther very idea of "switching over to private ledger", or "merging ledgers" doesnt make any sense to me (well, improbably!!) It is a miracle and amazing effort that the XRPLF and its builders have managed to create $250BN of value in a piece of code, doing that AGAIN for another ledger, well, geeze.

Fine…. adding trustlines on #XRPL $XRP rhVf8yghHXT1WMZ79vo8vAj9bQK4GCd5mG Comment which TL i should be adding to accept in the portfolio. Supporting cults. jeet traders will cope. NOW IS THE TIME TO POSITION YOURSELVES…. #XRP #XRPLedger #RLUSD $RLUSD
