Worlds announcements have always been related to competitive play. And this now lives in Champions. It’s likely we will get a Champions related announcement like the next battle mechanic after Megas.

@iYatoOfficial I dropped genshin after the main Natlan story ended. I had just stopped enjoying the game. It started to feel like a chore to log on every day. The combat wasnt gripping me the same as it did back at launch. A wonderful game I have many memories in but it was time to move on.

@midnightlunachr I will say thst MM3D completely butchered the swimming mechanic with Zora. Other than that its a fantastic remake and there is a mod to restore the swimming to its original glory.

@TheDavidMaximus @XrayPC @BobWulff Champions needed to be for the VGC community first and then cater to the casual fan base later. The entire point of champions was to separate VGC from the mainline games to finallu give a home to the competitive base and not abandon the casual base in the process.

@TheDavidMaximus @XrayPC @BobWulff Drip feeding meta to an audience who has had access to its entirety for 25+ years without disclosing beforehand is really not great. When they announced champions at Worlds last year they made it sound like a battle simulator but it is far from that.

Twitter lead me to believe this game was total ass.
The game is fine. It’s like Pokemon VGC for casual babies, and I’m a casual baby. It’s pretty fun for a little dabble. Not much depth to it though. If youre a diehard it probably isnt for you.
Upset there’s no mobile version yet tho
