It’s about time somebody said it. After 80 YEARS of the US carrying water for the Europeans, it’s time for these petulant children to stand on their own two feet. They are terrified because they will have to learn how to divert money from their precious and bloated social welfare programs and spend more on defense, which they actually don’t think is needed (except in Eastern Europe, where they clearly understand the threat Russia poses). If Western Europe really thinks Russia is that much of a threat, then their defense spending, troop, ship, and aircraft capabilities should match what they had during the Cold War.
