If there is a scout or executive that believes the best NCAA team would compete against, or beat, the worst NHL team, they should be fired immediately. The Canucks would SMOKE any NCAA team. Not every NCAA player makes the NHL. Every NHL player is already an NHLer.

It's a desperation move to try to spark a team that hasn't gotten on track since the break. Reality is they're still not going anywhere if their goalies can't make saves.

Bruce Cassidy is a great coach, but his messaging and approach can wear thin after a while. Plus, Vegas has not exactly been the most patient franchise. Even with a Cup in 2023, four years was probably just about the max for that marriage.
