@InquiringBob @LarryClaret1 @BladeoftheS This isn’t really an argument though. America is an example of a horribly failed system. Look at majority of other countries who have insurance measures that are affordable and controlled.

@LarryClaret1 @BladeoftheS Thin end of the wedge. It is the purpose of commercial enterprise to apply the hammer to that wedge. In the US our last routine birth cost $75,000. Only open the door if you’re really prepared to step through it.

The first thing Nigel Farage will introduce if he is elected is Health Insurance. The NHS correctly costs £200bn a year. In the USA Health Insurance is £14,000 a year per person £14,000 x 50m adults is £700bn a year. £500bn a year profit If you can't afford that you are dying

@Craigsheffuk @liam_cordingley @BladeoftheS I don’t think you quite understand it lad average households pay that same amount and more in tax towards NHS currently. It doesn’t become an additional charge. It’s a reform to the system that will allow for reduced tax burdens.

@johnjonijnajan @KirstieMAllsopp By an Iranian National. What’s your point? Clearly foreign nationals bring their ideologies to the UK who would have guessed, one reason all immigration needs to be reduced.

I love the U.K., a man can run around the streets stabbing people for being Jewish, and the issue people debate is whether the police officers trying to remove the knife from him used excessive force. Proof that we will do absolutely anything to avoid addressing antisemitism.

@RasputinPolitic @TheHughAnthony The structural pressures are exacerbated by immigration though. You simply end up in a positive feedback loop in which immigration is only a tool to exponentially increase the structural pressures. Need to solve the problem and that’s not through immigration.

Eh, I see your point here, but it’s difficult to oppose immigration through legislative means when mass migration is a structural inevitability of our current world order. If you want to combat it you need to combat it at the root with the structural pressures that cause it, if you don’t fix the structural causes it will lead to an inevitable cycle

Socialists should appose immigration. Why would a socialist want a class of effectively slave labour being brought into the country for the profits of the wealthiest?

@jimthegiant You’re hilarious mate. Go correlate immigration to wealth inequality. This is much more appropriate. Plus add on the increased tax burden today compared to the 1990s as well. You always ignore this but jump on the billionaire bandwagon.

@JossSheldon @Acorbs02 This only happens when demand is incredibly high and competition is low. Guess where that occurs the most? Population increased areas largely due to migration influx. Who benefits the most from mass immigration. The super wealthy. :)

Interesting stuff... Apparently, the wealthiest 10% of Brits hoard around 41% of the UK's wealth, but they only pay 33% of the country's tax receipts. Leeches.

@fsy1991 @InterestingSTEM What you've just described is electric torture used on humans. You have provided 0 validity to the use of electric shock to stun an animal before death. Why are you conflating the two?

@InterestingSTEM In conclusion, electrical shock is not only harmful but is classified among the harshest forms of torture due to its intensity, impact on the human body, and long-lasting effects.

This is how electrical stunning is performed in slaughterhouses. A controlled electric current is applied for a few seconds to cause immediate loss of consciousness before slaughter. The goal is that the animal does not perceive pain during the process.

@hol40900 Your focused on roughly £12Million when we lose roughly £21 BILLION to falling productivity and high administrative costs. Get a grip. Fix the actual fundamental systems then we can see how much the NHS actually needs. We don't need to play this stupid game.

Two young people dead. 20 cases now. Students terrified, scrambling for jabs they missed because the NHS didn't schedule them. Meanwhile, King Charles is charging the NHS £11.4 million to park ambulances . His estate makes £830,000 a year from a cash-strapped public service.

@MorvaHindrance @godblesstoto I do not think this to be the case, the argument that gets made mostly from my point of view is that there is a british ethnicity which should be protected. This does not mean other people of other ethnicities cannot be british but that there is a clear abuse of the current system

@godblesstoto I agree with all your points, but the argument going around at the moment seems to be that “British” refers to ethnicity only, so those who are not ethnically British but were born in Britain have no name for their nationality, because they are told they are not British.

I don't get this need for people who moved to the UK a few years ago to be called British. If I moved to Japan and lived there for 10 years, learned the language, engaged in the culture... I wouldn't be offended if my Japanese neighbours told me I wasn't Japanese. I'd just agree with them. I wouldn't see it as a dis. It would just be the truth. Am I missing something here?
