I am writing a short story of my experience growing up in a typical parish, typical grammar school run by nuns, suburban Chicago.
I feel it is important to share what really existed once, like a method of celestial navigation lost, but needing to be recaptured for the survival of an island people.
Ursuline nuns, all retired to St. Louis motherhouse, all gone to the Lord now. I have communicated with Sister Thomas More, archivist there. She said our school/convent was the only place where cloistered nuns ran a school. I get the chills just writing this.

NEW: 67-year-old Karen Cooke Lewis arrested for scratching a Tesla Cybertruck with nails on a board in Collettsville, North Carolina.
The owner of the Cybertruck says he had no clue who Karen was.
"We had all the craziness with Teslas when Elon was part of Doge and all that stuff, but I thought we had kind of gotten past that and I'd kind of made it through unscathed," the owner said.
Karen was arrested and charged with injury to personal property.
