@bobpockrass As a wife to a pit crew guy-My husband hasn’t snowboarded the last couple of times we had the opportunity because he will not take the risk. Accidents happen in daily life sure but when your livelihood is dependent on your physical body, it’s a good idea to err on side of caution

Under the stage break @WilliamByron pits for four tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment to help with right rear grip. The #RAPTOR24 team also tries to patch a small hole in the nose

@bobpockrass JGR won’t be appealing this decision either—which doesn’t surprise me considering management recently made decisions like breaking up their best pit crew at the beginning of this year and demoting at least 2 of their top talent.

Rule states two additional team members & doesn’t specify must be the tire changer that actually had the loose wheel. So NASCAR discretion. But still seems weird NASCAR suspended the tire changer listed as “front” on the roster when it was clear on film other changer had issue.
