本日午後、戦争記念館を訪問し、献花をいたしました。
戦争記念館は、祖国のために命を捧げたオーストラリア人兵士に対する国家としての敬意を示した建物です。
オーストラリア国民の皆様にとって大切な建物を訪問し、慰霊をさせていただき、深い感慨を抱きました。
夕方には、アルバニージー首相@AlboMP、バー・キャンベラ首都特別地域（ACT）首席大臣とともに、キャンベラ奈良平和公園を訪問しました。
キャンベラと奈良は1993年以来の長年の姉妹都市で、平和公園は姉妹都市提携を象徴する公園としてキャンベラの人に愛されています。
本年が日豪友好協力基本条約署名50周年であることを記念し、アルバニージー首相、バー首席大臣と一緒にクロマツを植樹させていただきました。
また、連邦政府とキャンベラ首都特別地域政府が公園内に設置した安倍元総理の慰霊碑へ献花を行い、日豪関係の発展に多大なる貢献をいただいた安倍元総理に哀悼の誠を捧げました。
安倍元総理や先人達の志を受け継ぎ、日豪で手を取り合って「自由で開かれたインド太平洋」を進化させていく決意を新たにいたしました。
