@GiaMMacool @FergiesRightRef I am a man and I am slacking off.
English

Men and women both avoid accountability at first.
Both rationalize.
Both move goalposts.
Both protect ego.
The difference isn’t morality
it’s consequences.
Men usually face external pressure faster (money, status, performance punishment), so they’re forced to adapt.
Women often have more social failsafes, (young) which can delay that consequences, but do not be fooled They get them later on.
Men get them upfront…
Women get them in the back end.
Delay isn’t immunity though.
Given the same incentives and consequences, both sexes adjust.
The system shapes behavior more than gender does.
English

Nothing is sexier than extreme ownership.
That’s why it seems like attractive people are so rare.
It’s not that there aren’t a lot of good looking people, it’s that everyone is fixated on problems, not ownership.
We don’t have a masculinity crisis
We don’t have a femininity crisis…
We have a responsibility crisis.
A woman who says, “I gained 20 lbs, I got work to do.”
A man who says, “I’ve been slacking, I got work to do.”
That’s attractive.
Focusing on symptoms instead of real solutions, will turn off anyone.
Ownership is for people who attract winners.

@Aster_DEX Wasn't a holder before but am a glad shorter now. A DEX that revolves around a few people controlling all the tokens/rules. Choosing to freeze airdrops, burn, etc. The talk was only between the owners, no-one to really challenge the team. Good luck to whoever is holding.

@Eunicedwong Seems like a good time to go short :3 been short since this morning and going pretty well

@benjamincowen @reinventideal You're one of the OG's in this space Benjamin and people who choose to come intothecryptoverse should be open to different views and opinions. Those who hate are simply not willing to let go of their own biases and will pay deeply with their pockets.
English

@benjamincowen @reinventideal Most people who came to trade crypto, me included were amateurs with a lot of emotions. Easily baited in by hype (FOMO) and fueled by greed. All they want is people who give them more confirmation bias. They are now sour that your prediction which is backed by TA came out true.
English

If you have a lot of followers one of the most difficult things to do is pivot your views on something.
Because the people that follow you for a while only follow you because your views align with their views.
But if your view change, many will despise you for pivoting.
I remember selling my ETH to BTC back in 2022. A lot of the ETH guys hated me for years. Then they liked me again when I bought ETH back in April 2025.
Yes, I am bearish on crypto right now.
Yes, I have been bullish on metals for a long time and am happy to see them doing well.
I know the metal euphoria will not last forever.
It's annoying when people who preached alt season for years act like they know what's going on with metals.
There is almost zero accountability by a lot of the degen crypto accounts.
I am not a perma-bear on crypto.
I just think crypto is in a bear market but that times will change in the future.
Rather than just sit around and sulk because crypto is in a bear market, I thought it made sense to focus on where the bull market actually is and that has been for metals.
Like any asset class, metals will top at some point and then the narrative will change again.
A good investor does not marry an asset class, but they recognize they can make money via multiple asset classes.
Why do so many feel like it's "crypto or nothing?"
What is wrong with making money in other asset classes?
I will continue to post my thoughts, whether you like them or not, and whether I am wrong or not, as I will certainly get things wrong.

@Eunicedwong Taking a 6 months clean break for someone who regularly trades is much harder than it sounds. You've got yourself a new follower, that's true willpower right there and staying in the game that's perseverance and grit. I hope you still enjoy chilling with normies though 😝
English

As you guys are aware I was away for months and been quiet.
I took time off to reset my dopamine, rebuild my nervous system, reconnect with my body and actually remind myself to what’s the purpose for all the grinding I did for
Today, I finally opened my laptop after 6 months.
During those months. I knew I had to fix my FOMO. I wasn’t online but i still had friends who told me some onchain plays that mooned - it wasn’t easy for me to hear these things when im not in and with the intense FOMO
The problem I had was the FOMO along with the thinking of - I MUST BE IN EVERY WINNING PLAYS.
And yes, along the journey when the whole pumpfun meme cycle ran it felt extremely good, money flooded in and my ego also grew.
At one point, I forgot who I truly was as I tied my identity to calling the winning plays and making money.
There’s a clarity that only comes when you step away long enough to remember who you are without charts, positions, PnL, alerts and adrenaline.
Being in crypto means being surrounded by money 24/7.
That’s powerful but also dangerous if you lose perspective.
During the heights of the cycle, being down on a meme for $300k was “nothing” and I legit didn’t give a crap becusse I know how easy is to be made in this space.
I started making friends with normies during these months and for the first time I got my perspective back in line as I learnt there are girls I know who work 6 days a week for 8-10 hours and get paid $5k a month, eating out for them is like a total big deal. Having a chanel handbag is like life changing for them. For me, that’s a total shock because if I wanted to buy a handbag, watch etc.. I just go In to the store on a random Monday afternoon just because, I can.
But I felt completely numb. I stopped appreciating all the things and even people around me.
Every conversation was boring for me. I only wanted to talk about the next play, if they don’t talk about it - it was a useless conversation.
The only thing that excited me was seeing the numbers on my portfolio increase
I realized I totally lost touch of reality.
Here’s some truth most people don’t want to admit:
There is no point making money
if you’re too stressed to enjoy it,
too anxious to rest,
too numb to feel,
too busy to live,
or too disconnected to love.
Money is meant to expand your life, not replace it.
During this break, I remembered how good it feels to:
– wake up without urgency
– move my body without performance
– sleep without guilt
– create without pressure
– be present without distraction
I thought to fix the boredom I was feeling I had to do the most mundane shit like super low ROI stuff, such as getting groceries, cooking, painting, making friends with normies etc…
But it worked.
So what I learnt these months…
The real wealth is not money.
The real wealth is capacity.
Capacity to feel, enjoy, be present and build without burning out.
If your nervous system is fried, your decision-making is compromised.
If your identity is tied to PnL, your self-worth becomes fragile.
That’s when people revenge trade, over-leverage, over-work and self-sabotage.
So I’m coming back differently.
No more chasing, no more forcing, no more proving.
Just aligned execution, patience, clarity and respect for timing.
Moving forward, it’s not about how much I can make.
It’s about:
– sustainability
– clarity
– emotional neutrality
– longevity
So here we go again… but this time, with a more regulated nervous system. I guess this also aligns with where we are at in the market cycle,
slow = good ✅
Let’s continue this wealth journey without losing ourselves 🤍🤍🤍

@MrPitbull07 And yes you did the right thing better single and free than married an miserable.
English

@MrPitbull07 Is this a true story, because if so that's wild!
English

My fiancé told me he needed “closure” with his ex before we get married… and my heart sank.
So boom.
We’ve been engaged for 6 months. Venue picked. Dress saved. Deposits paid. I’m out here planning a WEDDING like a grown woman.
Then one random Tuesday night, we’re laying in bed, I’m scrolling TikTok, and he hits me with: “Babe… before we get married, I just need closure with my ex.”
I laughed.
Because… what do you mean closure??
Sir this isn’t a Netflix series. This is real life.
So I’m like, “Okay… what does closure look like?”
He says, “Just a conversation. I want to make sure there’s no bad blood. I want peace.”
PEACE???
I said, “You had 3 years to find peace. Why is it suddenly urgent now that we’re about to get married?”
He started doing that calm voice thing men do when they know they’re wrong but wanna sound mature.
“Baby, it’s not like that. I just don’t want anything coming between us later.”
So I’m irritated but I’m trying to be secure. I’m trying to be the “cool” woman. So I said:
“Okay. Call her right now. Let’s do it on speaker. Closure right here. In this room.”
He got quiet.
Then he said, “No… I need to do it in person.”
IN PERSON???
I sat up so fast I almost sprained my neck.
I said, “In person?? At what location? At what time? With whose protection??”
He said, “It won’t take long.”
And that’s when I knew.
Because men only say “it won’t take long” when they’re about to do something that’s gonna ruin your week.
So I told him straight:
“Go ahead. But just know… if you need closure, then you’re not ready to marry ME.”
He got mad.
Talking about, “Why are you making it a big deal?”
I said, “Because closure is something you get BEFORE you propose. Not after you put a ring on me.”
He swore up and down it was “just a conversation”… and guess what happened next?
He left for “closure” at 7:30pm.
And didn’t come back until 1:12am.
At 1:12… I wasn’t even angry anymore.
I was calm.
Peaceful.
Because in my mind… the wedding was already canceled.
He walked in looking tired, like he’d just fought for his life.
I said, “Did you get your closure?”
He said, “Yeah… we talked.”
I said, “Okay cool. Now go ahead and give me MY closure.”
He blinked.
I said, “Because the man I’m marrying doesn’t need a private late-night meeting with his ex to ‘finish his chapter.’”
He started stuttering and talking about:
“You don’t understand. She just wanted to apologize…”
I said, “At 1am?? She apologized with a curfew??”
Then he tried to flip it.
“You’re insecure.”
I said, “No baby… I’m informed.”
Then I picked up my ring from the table and placed it right in his palm like I was handing him change at the gas station.
“Here. Since you still have unfinished business… go finish it.”
He said, “You’re really ending everything over this?”
I said, “No. You ended it when you decided your ex deserved more access to you than your fiancée deserves respect.”
Now he’s been blowing my phone up talking about:
“I was just trying to do the right thing.”
But I’m stuck on one question…
Be honest… was I wrong for leaving, or was he wrong for needing closure AFTER proposing?
Because I don’t know about y’all…
But the only closure I believe in is a LOCKED DOOR. 🚪

@dominic_w Hey @grok can you confirm the increase in number of developers on ICP compared to other networks?
English

ICP closing in on a big stat.
Over the past month, we got near 10X more people building dapps on the Internet Computer vs. EVERY OTHER NETWORK COMBINED #MassMarketPower
Caffeine ☕ + ICP is still just getting started, so..

@xueqinjiang
Mr. Jiang,Has history ever recorded a verifiable chain of 10 father-son pairs, each a moral-intellectual exemplar?
One lineage. Ten generations. No gaps.
This anomaly exists, yet fiction never imagined it.
What does that say about the limits of symbolic imagination?
