@511Alberta Incorrect, highway 595 east of Red Deer is not bare and wet. Snow covered areas and some areas only clear to drive durn the centre line!!

Hwy's in central and northern Alberta are cvd to partly cvd snow, icy sections, slush with fair to poor visiblity in areas. Snowplows are active in all regions, please give them room to work. (9:28am) #ABRoads #yegtraffic

@clintwfischer Started a bison ranch in Canada, now over 15 years in and multiple properties. It can be done! But yes, off farm income still the major source.

“If you weren’t born into an ag operation then you can’t become a farmer/rancher.” The first generation IL farmer I met today would disagree. He, his wife, and their 5 young kids have built an organic & conventional row crop farm from scratch. Took a lot of outside-the-box thinking, relationship building, faith, and some luck… but he went from a city kid to full-fledged farmer. Just wanted to share a little Friday inspiration.
