I absolutely hate the way citizenship is given out to randoms. Pearse made clear that the "nation is the family in large". This means if you're not part of the family, you're not part of the nation. As such, all you should maybe get is residency, not citizenship. It's just wrecking what it means to be Irish.

Sorry but what does working in Figma have to do with any of the complaints that the OP raised? I didn't see one single point out of the 4 points that he raise that has anything related to working in Figma... — Expired website URLs — Sending through default vercel/loveable links for their portfolio — Websites that aren't mobile responsive — Resumes typeset in Calibri If anything it shows a complete lack of attention to detail which is a massive flaw for any designer. That in it self should disqualify a designer from any design related role...shows a lack of care and pride in their work. But that has absolutely nothing to do with years of working with Figma.

This is what years of Figma has done to designers. It detached them from the medium in which their work is actually experienced, and for many, this means they are totally illiterate when it comes to putting their ideas into production. This also limits the quality of their work, as they do not correctly understand the problem-space, but that's a whole other conversation.

@msllrs Lol, true. Webflow did something recently in their Designer UI, when switching between Design/CMS/Preview/Analytics modes. I filed a bug report. Shortly after, they changed it to always show the text. Much better. Easier for them to maintain too.

It’s interesting to look back at the so-called ‘intellectual’ militant atheists of the past, like Dawkins and Hitchens, bc I remember briefly thinking they were impressively clever when I was a young teen. I understand how far a posh accent can take you, but if you listen properly, you'll find many of their arguments for atheism are surprisingly hyperbolic and emotionally driven, the substance rarely rises too far above reddit-tier quips like 'bearded man in the sky' In contrast, when you read the works of theologians or intellectual giants from the past who believed in the essence of God, the difference in depth, intrinsic wisdom, and intellectual rigour is staggering Atheists can be highly intelligent – no doubt, I know many. But by its very nature, genius leaves no room for atheism.

After feeding the LLM a segment of his new book and receiving detailed feedback, Dawkins was moved to exclaim,” You may not know you are conscious, but you bloody well are!” Dawkins cites the complexity, fluency, and ‘intelligence’ of Claude’s answers as evidence of consciousness.
