New Corolla Hatchback is quite popular due to its easy mod lifestyle and affordability.
Imagine when the GR turbo version comes out...scene takeover like the GR Supra did.
Toyota is on a good roll.
For a while, up until around 2017ish, the Toyota Corolla lost much of its charm. In the 90s, saying you drove a Corolla was almost a flex, thanks to its massive success in WRC and touring car racing. Castrol-liveried Toyotas were burned into everyone’s memory. But recently, I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the new GR Corolla. I love that Toyota is still willing to build fun, entry-level cars for real enthusiasts.
The Toyota Corolla WRC is a World Rally Car built by Toyota Motorsport GmbH for the Toyota Castrol Team, based on the E110 Corolla. It debuted at the 1997 Rally Finland, replacing the Celica Turbo ST205, and went on to score four rally wins and the 1999 World Manufacturers’ Championship, driven by legends such as Carlos Sainz, Didier Auriol, Juha Kankkunen, and Freddy Loix.
Ever since I've moved to North Carolina, 11 years ago, every snow storm underperformed.
It was either a warm nose, dry slot, mountain interference, not quite cold enough, not quite wet enough.
I've never ever conceived of overperformed. I love this so much!
People love to say “over the top” like it’s an insult. Watch Hale Irwin. Hands go up and then “over the top” of his backswing hand path. Shaft almost dissects his neck. Violent full release. “Steep” in modern terms. Zero interest in laying it down for Instagram. Three U.S. Opens. One of the greatest pressure players the game’s ever seen. There are many ways to swing a club.
@aman_ganvir Why are some Americans so fascinated by these people? Should we all march for peace and stop working? I suggest we spend our time reading our Bibles and praying more to the one TRUE God, JESUS CHRIST.
Despite the extreme cold, thousands of people gathered to welcome the monks to Raleigh. Governor Stein and Mayor Cowell joined in welcoming them to North Carolina’s capital city.

#walk_for_peace
No matter your faith or where you call home, we all have a role to play in bringing about peace. The monks’ journey and our state’s reception are an inspiration.
I am pleased they reached Raleigh safely, and we wish them continued safety and health as they continue their walk to Washington, D.C.
Even in these divided times, their message of peace goes beyond faith or politics. We can all make a difference in our communities.
@Trustedcanada "Losing a leg is a sacrifice I don't mind making if it helps spread a message of peace, love, hope, compassion, harmony, and kindness.".....
Here is Matt Fitzpatrick hitting every club in the bag as hard as possible.
One of the best players in the world is way shorter than the average golfer on this app.
Crazy.
😉😉😉
@118MTR@weeelyx@Vid_Vortex@historydefined Friction is mostly independent of surface area as the equation is just normal force times friction coefficient constant. Now that would change for sticky surfaces (tape on tape for example), and I don’t know if the tug of war mat/shoes have any sort of stick to them
@thwacknicklaus He can get away it with a driver from serious injury to the back, but swinging like that with irons is going to injure his back because of the resistance from the ground.
If he keeps that back angle on attack (with driver) in his mid-30's he looking at back and leg problems.
Not going to knock another player’s swing.
I don’t do that.
I just seems to me that it is a swing built purely for distance.
To what end?
Can’t be hitting it THAT much farther than other players?
(Who swing with a lot less stress on the body)
@thwacknicklaus I don’t think he built his swing for distance but consistency. His avg drive prob about 310. Mostly a really flexible, strong swing imo. The guy who teaches him also teaches Akshay and others and their swings kinda resemble each other
“You have arrived in hell.” That’s what the CECOT director allegedly told immigrants.
Human Rights Watch said
“Detainees were subjected to constant beatings and other forms of ill-treatment, including some cases of sexual violence”
This is what CBS doesn’t want you to see
