I know plenty of people who have been getting these stimulus checks even though they are gainfully employed and don't need the help. We are burning through billions of dollars by just tossing money into the air and hoping that a few of the people it lands on actually need it.

We should not ignore the President’s behavior leading up to the violence in the Capitol on Jan 6. He bears enormous responsibility for it. But impeachment is not the answer. We all need to deescalate, lower the temperature, and move forward together as a country. My statement:

The individuals who participated in the storming of the Capitol should be met with the full force of the law. They should and will be held accountable.

Supporting the impeachment of President Trump under these circumstances will do great damage to the institutions of government and could invite further violence at a time the President is calling for calm.

@ScottAdamsSays No. Again misleading. He/they did not like outcome of lawsuits so moved to next step, the contesting of count. And, actually, that debate was thwarted bc of march on Capitol. Wonder what would have happened if President had just followed the rules of our democratic process.

Much of the public has been brainwashed into believing that asking for 10 days to do an election audit for the benefit of all citizens is "overturning the election." It is closer to the opposite of that.
