@kenzietuff Otherwise I wouldn't be commenting on this, but I wouldn't say that the 40h mark fits into the "extremely long hours" part, it's just a normal work week, in a fact, it's just bit over half of my normal work week..

There is an epidemic of women who have husbands who work extremely long hours (so that those women can be at home with their children) who say their husband “does nothing” because when he gets home he needs to relax from working 40-80 hours a week to put a roof over their heads.

Welcome to adult life. A few generations ago men worked 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Whether it was in the factory or on the farm. Your generation has a lot more free time and more conveniences than ever before. You're also infinitely better off in the US than in most of the world.

Am I the only one that sees a problem with working 8-9 hours a day and then going home to having about 4 hours to yourself which includes getting ready for the next day??? This is not life…

It was corporate sabatoge. The pinnacle of this style, how they made painted artwork also be 3D, was called Deep Canvas. It was first used in Tarzan, how the trees Tarzan was travel about would feel 3 dimensional yet look 2D in any still, was improved on an used massively in Treasure Planet. It was expensive, but they had also refined the process. That was until Toy Story came out, and the rage became 3D CGI movies. So, to "prove" the point that customers didn't want 2D movies anymore, the execs sabatoged Treasure Planet. They gave it piss poor advertisements, and the ones they did make spoiled key plot points, and they purposely released it against competition it couldn't win against, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. As a result, the movie flopped, and that justified Disney to go entirely 3D, not touching 2D again until Frog and the Prince.

@emefzoom @acoolerclimate5 @1broadwaybu @Whotfismick Oh yeah, I didn't actually consider that people do actually live close to stuff like that😅 For me it's at least a weekend trip to any of those Well except the beach but sea ain't usually warm enough to enjoy around here, so that's for overseas vacations w/culture sightseeings

I was paid 1.5x time and was held over every day to complete jobs I was not hired for because the company would rather overwork what workers it had than hire enough to run effectively. This happens often and it is awful.
