Here's my question. Let's say Volpe shows no signs of anything different up here and the defense is mediocre, when Caballero is healthy and returns, what happens? Would they send Volpe back down in that scenario or does Caballero go back to being a utility guy? I fear the latter.

The Yankees care just way too much when a guy squares around. As long as your infield defense is defended well against it, there's not nearly enough harm to it to let it affect intent/location.

If Spencer Jones wants to be a big-league regular he needs to swing at as many strikes as possible. The hit tool makes this a simple math equation where every called strike is more detrimental because his odds of making contact on a swing are so low (relative to the AVG)
