Hey guys, I'm the Founder of TryThemOn.Me. Today we decided to do a fair launch on @Orynth to bring more awareness to what we're building and let the community take part in the journey from day one. TryThemOn.Me is an AI virtual try on tool for online and second hand shoppers. You can upload a photo of yourself and a clothing image, then preview how the item could look on you before buying. The goal is simple: make it easier to shop on places like Vinted, Depop, eBay and thrift stores when there are no fitting rooms, no model photos and no easy returns. Launching a market on Orynth helps bring more eyes to TryThemOn.Me while we keep building. It gives the community a way to discover the product early, follow our progress and be part of the journey as we ship. The official contract address: 9M3YjMzDpUb1Bun4nzpLnwRtQsCHefjAWiwEpEfWdory Please make sure you only use the CA shared from our official channels. More updates coming soon.

I just launched the TryThemOn.me Chrome extension. The idea is simple: when you’re browsing clothes online, you can send a product photo directly to TryThemOn.me and preview how it could look on you before buying. It’s especially useful for second-hand shopping (@vinted) , where you often get one photo, no returns, and a lot of guesswork. This is the first demo, still rough around the edges, but it works. Try it here: chromewebstore.google.com/detail/iehomgp… Chrome extension demo below 👇 #Vinted #VintedFrance #SecondeMain #VintedAddict #OhMyVinted

@YannGutter @tibo_maker It’s called orynth.dev. You submit your product, it gets reviewed, and if approved it goes live for discovery. Some founders also enable a live market around the product.

@YannGutter @tibo_maker Hi! Would you like to list your project on a Product Hunt alternative for free? They’re looking for unique projects, and yours would be a great fit.

If your invoicing tool disappears tomorrow, what happens to your business? Most devs don’t own their invoicing. They rent it.

Devs will spend hours optimizing their stack… Then copy/paste the same data from a quote to an invoice to Trello to Clockify every single time. Makes sense.

✨ To prove my friend @StevieZollo (who's visiting me in Brazil) you don't need an idea, or even a lot of time these days to ship a little app that might make money I took the top idea from IdeasAI.com: "A startup that uses AI to generate personalized bedtime stories for kids based on their interests, family photos, and daily activities, delivered via a voice app. (❤️ 110 likes, 3 days ago)" So I copy pasted it into Claude Code and asked it to build it The first version of course didn't work, and I had to tell it some endpoints didn't work properly but then it fixed it The bedtime stories are generated by @xAI Grok 4.1, then sent to TTS with @GoogleAI Gemini and payment with @Stripe Checkout Total time from start to live: 24 minutes
@levelsio@levelsio

Some nice new ideas upvoted by everyone today With the new AI models + human upvoting and downvoting there might actually be good ideas here for people to build startups from Possibly...

just built a Chrome extension that flags bot / AI replies on X it uses red background to highlight suspicious post still rough, but already makes threads way more readable looking for testers (especially if you run bots 👀) if you spot a bot reply, send it — I want to see if FakeCatcher catches it - I need to improve accuracy!

Ads are supposed to “scale your growth”. Mine just burned cash. Here’s exactly what happened 👇 youtu.be/x5RCOml_igA

@isabellaUGC2025 @HaykMn_iOS Not really structured yet. But what’s interesting is that all my paying users so far came from organic: - direct traffic - ChatGPT - and a bit of Reddit So I’m starting to think distribution is less about pushing traffic, and more about being present in the right context.

Build in public update #2: I tested ads for my try them on me product Result: • more traffic • zero real users • 100% of paying users came from organic I basically bought clicks, not intent. Now fixing: → funnel → product → distribution Full breakdown 👇 youtu.be/x5RCOml_igA

Totally agree. That was the biggest surprise for me. Not just low conversion, but zero real usage. Even with free trials, people just… didn’t care. Meanwhile organic users actually try the product. So yeah, I’m starting to think distribution is less about reach, and more about context.

This matches my experience exactly. I run a habit tracking app — tried Apple Search Ads early on, got impressions but the conversion to actual retained users was near zero. Meanwhile organic users from ASO and content marketing stick around way longer. Paid gets you vanity metrics, organic gets you real users. Good on you for catching it early.

I bought traffic… but no customers. I tested ads on Meta & TikTok → traffic went up → engagement stayed at zero Turns out I was buying clicks, not intent. Full breakdown 👇 youtu.be/x5RCOml_igA #buildinpublic #saas
