It’s wild that this post got close to 2M views and can't thank all of you enough in helping me... still no ID... but there’s some more footage that's slightly creepy: 5:18 PM - Commits crime, immediately and calmly walks into a bar 5:22 PM - Walked into a pizzeria like nothing happened, deranged. I don’t have any footage of her leaving the pizzeria. Location: I was parked outside of 171 E Broadway, New York, NY 10002 (you can see “171” in prior the footage). Forgot to mention that at the night of the crime, I did get a call from a detective from NYPD, asking for details and that's when I've provided all of the footage from the first post.

Psycho woman rips license plate off my Tesla in NYC. Please make her famous. I have additional face shot videos in the thread. I never thought this would happen to me. Caught on Tesla dashcam today (July 6) around 5:18pm in the Lower East Side. She walked straight up to my parked white Tesla at 171 E Broadway, tore the plate straight off, then casually walked away… and later strolled right back past the spot like nothing happened. It only becomes a federal crime in specific situations, such as: • Using the stolen plate to commit another federal crime (e.g., fraud, terrorism, drug trafficking) • Stealing plates from federal/government vehicles • Crossing state lines with the intent to commit a crime • Identity theft or fraud involving the plate on a large scale

@AmandafromGA Thank you so much for this message. I’m more upset about the time wasted from something like this. I spent time at police station filing a report, I can’t drive the car without rear plates or risk getting pulled over and, and I now have to take time off work to go to the DMV…

To the people saying he deserved it bc it was so easy to rip off. Come on! So you’re fine with porch pirates bc people should have locked boxes? You’re ok with people stealing just because things aren’t locked down. If the windows are open to a car or house, it’s ok? NO! It’s stealing.

@Yantastic The screws go into plastic inserts. They are not meant to hold the entire car together. By pulling the frame she created leverage and had a solid grip. Just yoinked the plastic inserts out along with the plate. Ya'll can stop wondering how she was able to do it now.

Everyone is very interested in how the license plate came off. - They were used with the same bolts from factory that were used for temp plates. - I bolted only the top two in because I don’t want to drill more holes into my trunk. - The plastic you see is not a pull tab. It’s the license plate frame. Also: - I don’t know her - She loitered around for maybe 15 minutes.

@Yantastic If you go to the same location at about the same time of day, she may pass by again. Could be her daily routine. Then you can approach her with a clip board and ask her if she’d like to sign an anti-Trump petition and get her name and address.

For people asking: - The plates were bolted into the two screw holes. - I did report this to NYPD 7th precinct after it happened. - I disabled my ez pass.
