But we are in touch with Mars and Moon these days. There may be an intervention from there
Brigadier Hardeep Singh Sohi,Shaurya Chakra (R)@Hardisohi
He is uttering as if someone from Mars will come and do it. Bro, you have to do it. Make a policy and start implementing.

@LloydMathias @debayansen @AJEnglish @AlJazeera @AJENews That is indeed a good point. Why not question press freedom in Qatar
English

@debayansen @yashoazad @AJEnglish @AlJazeera @AJENews Thanks for the clarification on this Debayan. I was going by her profile on the Al Jazeera page - but concede it does say “independent journalist”. I wish she sees the irony- of easily criticising India’s freedom-while writing for publications owned by countries with dodgy creds!

English

Thank you Tanushree for speaking out the brutal truth of press freedom being a chimera!
Tanushree Pandey@TanushreePande
We don’t need a Norwegian journalist to tell us about press freedom in India. Hear it from an Indian journalist. Jai Hind 🧿🫡
English

@yashoazad It would be nice if Ms Pandey makes the time to ‘speak out the brutal truth’ about her employers too, Mr @yashoazad ! This sort of social media grandstanding is a bit passé no?

@yashoazad @HelleLyngSvends @ashutosh83B @vijaita Thanks Yasho for the acknowledgement it means a lot

A thought provoking piece by Vij, who served as IGP Bastar during tough times. While faults can be found with investigation of such incidents of mass casualties of security forces - certain persistent issues are not under control of IOs. The long period of trial in such sensitive cases inevitably leads to witnesses turning hostile and inaccessible areas means a forensic outreach a nightmare. Expecting a normal investigation in areas of terrorism and insurgency is impractical. Tadmetla massacre is a milestone of grief in anti Maoist ops. There is some closure for the security forces and families of victims with with almost all the perpetrators of the crime, either killed in encounters, arrested or now surrendered. Heartfelt salaam to the fallen heroes of Tadmetla.

A case of rushed investigation! My piece published in @the_hindu today

@indira_hyd Threat perceptions & yes border being one of the reasons
English

@yashoazad Only these: “J&K Manipur Nagaland and Punjab, no CM needs a massive security cordon” — Is it because they are border-states, sir ?
English

@yashoazad Sir, Don't disrespect the Indian cum British culture.
For smooth discharge of constitutional obligations, the gap between voters and legislature is necessary.
Do respect the distance between them and us.
Bina Y and Z security ke, kaise pata chalega ki CM saheb jaa rahe hai 😝

When CM and ministers are doing it she is merely following in their footsteps - next she will be riding a scooter but still with security guy huffing and panting on cycle or running behind. Collectors and DPs are most important functional heads and need to do any natak. They shd always be available on wheels - ready to move. Drama is avoidable

Sunday watch: "Mentalist" series on Netflix is fascinating. A gripping tale of a small police unit headed by a gutsy woman and helped by a consultant, the mentalist - with 3 others - each fitting into his/her role like a T. It keeps you engrossed and enthralled. The eye for detail, storyline of crimes and detection, the photography, acting - is amazing.
Last I saw was Rookie another winner all the way. Netflix series have made both cinema and theatres irrelevant - sad to say
