25-year-old Keanu Taylor shot dead by drive-by gunmen at Brixton barbecue party Keanu Taylor, also known as Bish or lil Bish, was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning on Coldharbour Lane outside the Southwyck House estate in Brixton, south London. Gunmen opened fire from a car on people enjoying a barbecue; Taylor was one of four people hit. He was rushed to hospital but died from his injuries. The other three victims, aged 21, 47 and 70, suffered non-life-threatening wounds. Police were called at 1:14am and arrived within minutes. No arrests have been made. Detectives are investigating a possible link to a stabbing that happened nearby an hour later. Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene as the Met appeals for witnesses.

Is this post true? I have been around the block somewhat, and IMO, China is up there if you are an expat - definately the top ten. But it's not the best. There are many pros about China; the tech here is unsurpassed, the Chinese have cornered this market. Its super safe, very cheap for expats, the people are friendly (depsite the anti-China bullsh$t) you read on X, the accomdation is good - western style and mostly affordable for what you can get. You can travel within China very cheaply, the trains are great. The food options are good and big cities are on par with cities like Bangkok & Singapore - lots of international food available. The work environment is good, you are treated respectfully, the salaries are generous. All in all it's great. But one country offers more; and that's Thailand. It's hard to explain why Thailand is the destination to be in one post. You need to have been there, lived there to understand it's attraction. But for now Thailand is still the undisputeable king of Asia. But Vietnam is hot on its tail by many accounts due to just how cheap it is - we will see. What do you think?

Nevertheless, you can still buy them. This is a traditional street food from Dongyang, Zhejiang, eggs boiled and soaked in the urine of young boys (preferably under 10). It's often called "virgin boy eggs." Eggs are soaked, boiled, and simmered for hours in the urine. The process often involves: Collecting fresh urine (commonly from school toilets with buckets set up for boys). Boiling eggs in it. Cracking the shells. Simmering them again in more urine (sometimes with herbs). This gives the eggs a distinct salty flavor, a golden/white appearance for the whites, and sometimes a greenish yolk. They're a seasonal spring snack sold by street vendors. Have I tried? No. But these eggs are only availble in a small region of China anyway .... so I havent ever seen them on them street. I understand Israel bombing Lebanon to pressure the `gov to disarm Hezbollah But let's be realistic, they don't have the capacity. Hezbollah is more heavily armed and supported by Iran So the Lebanese Gov is siding with Israel against Hezbollah But now that Israel is talking about occupying lebanese territory post war and displacing 600,000 people, that's crossing a red line. How can you expect Hezbollah to still fight against Hezbollah and alongside Israel when Israel is looking more and more likely to annex lebanese te territory?

I'm honestly very fkn upset! Israel's Defense Minister just blatantly said they will occupy 10% of Lebanon even AFTER the war, and over 600k people that have their homes there cannot return! And also today, Netanyahu is saying that after the Iran war, the Strait of Hormuz needs to be bypassed using pipelines from Saudi to the Mediterranean I'm trying to be objective on everything, but after the destruction of Gaza, recent unwarranted bombing of Syria a few days ago, and now this, I am struggling to remain objective! Israel needs to reconsider its foreign policy or the cycle of violence won't stop! You cannot occupy Lebanon and expect the Government to disarm the militia that was founded BECAUSE of Israeli occupation decades ago! You cannot bomb Syria non stop and expect the people and the Government to sit idly and normalize relations You cannot wipe out Gaza and keep occupying it, then pass a law where the death penalty applies to Palestinians and not Israelis, and expect Palestinians to not be radicalized and fight back You cannot expect to bomb Iran, then propose a pipeline that benefits you, and expect the Arab world to become allies I want Hezbollah gone. I want the Iranian regime gone. I want Palestinian radicalization gone. But this is NOT the way to do it! This is NOT the way to achieve peace in the region!
