The @solana Graveyard Hackathon was fun, but sadly, some sponsors have taken all the promo they could get from the contest and rugged the participants. Both @KYDLabs and @DeSciLabs promised to judge their entries but then abandoned the Telegram channel, leaving folks hanging. Many participants spent endless hours competing and using both their time and resources, yet these companies couldn't even give the most basic respect to the participants. Even worse, KYD just strung along its participants for weeks saying they'd announce winners - and then they just ghosted the channel entirely. I'm hoping in the next hackathon, Solana requires sponsor prize money to be locked in a smart contract before they can be promoted as part of the hackathon.
