Council tax is a wealth tax Why do I have to pay over £5,000 to have my bins emptied, just because my house is bigger? Or in a different area? It’s the same ‘service’ whether your house is worth £200K or £2 million Up to £5,835 a year to get your bins emptied. But you have to organise all your rubbish  Oh, and if I ALREADY pay a national tax, why am I paying a local tax on top? Joke
