@YelakEloc You don't understand the point. Read and come back again if you have a rebuttal.

@pnwesting And lastly, by your logic a large majority of what you would consider “black Americans” wouldn’t be because somewhere in the lineage there is a white person.

@YelakEloc My point stands. Are you trying to provide a rebuttal? Who fought in all U.S wars? It wasn't the saint Thomas Caribbeans.... That territory was purchased, hundreds of years later after the founding of U.S. They didn't build America or fight for it. Nice try

@pnwesting So are you saying they haven’t fought in any U.S. wars? Because that would not be factual. Secondly you can’t say she’s not black American because of 1 grandparent being born in “US Virgin Islands” where did the other 3 originate from?

@pnwesting @jiminica1 So black American. The name is US Virgin Island and you named 1/4 grandparents being from there as if the South wasn’t buying slaves from the Caribbean also.

@jiminica1 Candace Owens is NOT a black American. She is of caribbean Heritage. Owens has stated that she is of Caribbean American heritage through her grandmother, who was originally from Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Stop mixing Black Americans with immigrants

@IntriguedYapper @KollegeKidd Sooo I’m older than you I assume and I’ve always understood it to be about drugs that doesn’t mean it’s not a dance song no different than kids saying 67 and not knowing the true meaning. But hey what do I know

@YelakEloc @KollegeKidd No. No one is saying double meanings and metaphors do not exist. But if iy walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, then you're not wrong for calling it a duck. Its also 20 years old why is this just now coming out? It also makes more sense as a dance song contextually.

@IntriguedYapper @KollegeKidd So I guess Brown Sugar by D’Angelo was really about sugar and not drugs, and Candy by Cameo is really about candy because the majority is oblivious

@YelakEloc @KollegeKidd In America majority rules. And if everyone else has a verse talking bout snap and pop, lean back, doing they dance. Then its probably a dance song. 1 verse don't change the majority.

@IntriguedYapper @KollegeKidd So that means the song is about drugs and the entire hook is a double entendres lean and rock have double meanings

@_ParadiseParis1 Same reason all the artist Drake worked with and identities he took on afterwards aren’t still relevant🤷🏾‍♀️ Also Kim, Da Brat and Remy all took huge hits to their career by going to jail at the height of it.

@ArmonWiggins @YouTube @ArmonWiggins your anti Cardi is anti black and it has nothing to w/ her race. Name another artist whose entire team is black. She’s literally empowering our people and that deserves respect putting them in spaces. Don’t Dicredit them out of hate!

Drake’s absence plus Kendrick’s dominance have vacated Billboard of cross-collaboration. When the two biggest artists in hip hop went to war, everybody else had to make a choice, pick a side or stay out of it completely. And when that happens, you don’t get records being made together. You don’t get crossover moments. You don’t get the kind of collaboration that drives songs into the top of the charts. So yes, hip hop is still the most consumed genre in the world, because streaming never stopped. But consumption doesn’t equal creation. It doesn’t mean new hits are being made. It doesn’t mean the culture is moving forward commercially. It just means people are listening. I put all the data together on a page so you can see it for yourself. Check it out. …--melodious-dragon-69234a.netlify.app

@alexbruesewitz Why’re you so worried about black artists? There’s plenty other artists with known sketchy pasts that you can leech off for attention.

People supported Cardi in her foolishness with that serial baby daddy while married. You cannot make me mad about Latto being pregnant by 21. One was definitely worse than the other.
