A Journey of Shared Agency: Reflections from the beVisioneers Summit✍️ Kigali 🇷🇼Rwanda, September 16-20, 2025 - I still feel the energy and inspiration the East Africa Regional Summit for the beVisioneers: beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship -What started as an invitation became a life-changing experience that reshaped my perspective on leadership,😊community, and impact. For four days, over 200 fellows from Rwanda 🇷🇼,Kenya 🇰🇪Uganda 🇺🇬,and Tanzania 🇹🇿 converged to share knowledge, co-create solutions, and tackle environmental 🌳🌳and social challenges. The theme was palpable in every conversation, workshop, and reflection. We discovered that our collective strength lies not just in individual projects but in our determination to create change together. What struck me most was the spirit of togetherness and the values that unite us. Conversations went beyond technical solutions, touching on the passions and values that drive our work. I realized that true wisdom lies in the hearts and minds of young people. I'm grateful to the beVisioneers team and mentors for creating a transformative space. The summit left me with a strong conviction this fellowship is not just about individual growth but about building a movement of shared agency, where young innovators unite to create lasting, sustainable change.
