@alabduso @KarimMajzoub @nntaleb There is only one race. The human race. All else is socially constructed nonsense, invented and perpetuated by racists, to give them something to argue about and feel superior to other humans. The denial of this fact is the foundation of racism.

Two worldviews are clashing here: The Leftist thinks the Right is racist. They believe it motivates their policies on policing, immigration, everything. And they are often Christian. So to them pointing out Jesus isn't white (and no one thinks He is, this is am imaginary allegation) is a big own. For the Leftist is always thinking about race. And they assume and build their morality off of the Right being the racist evil they need him to be. So then how ironic and hilarious all these Right wing racists follow Jesus. So it becomes: "You hate brown people but do you realize Jesus is one?" However the Right responds saying they don't care. They genuinely believe the idea content of character not color is what matters. So this attack has zero effect. They love Jesus not because He is white or brown but because He is God who transcends all that. The Right, at its best, doesn't care about race and wants to move on. The Left doesn't believe the Right so they throw this kind of post up all the time. Never realizing it reveals far more about themselves than the people they think they're insulting.

Just a reminder for Christian's celebrating Easter this week. Jesus looked like the guy in the first picture - not the second.

@BiatchDulce Also more than a third of the entire Federal debt was accrued during just 8 years that Nancy Pelosi was the Speaker of the House responsible for the budget. All three of those deficit decreases occurred when Republicans took control of Congress from the Democrats

@BiatchDulce Over the last 50 years while 5 of 6 reactions started under Republican presidents, 2: 1981 and 2001 were triggered by economic conditions which occurred before the election, and 2: 2007 and 2020 occurred after Democrats took over the House and control of government spending

ECONOMICS FACT CHECK: -8 of the 10 poorest states in the US are controlled by Republicans. -10 of the last 11 recessions started under Republican Presidents. -The only 3 Presidents to lower the deficit in the last 50 years were all Dems: Clinton, Obama, Biden. -6 out of 7 Presidents with the highest job creation rates since 1945 were Democrats. -GDP growth under Republican Presidents averages just 2.5% but a whopping 4.3% under Democrats. @StaciBryant133 @SirBylHolte My point is that people don't hate female heroes. Hollywood can't write female superheroes. There was huge demand for a Black Widow movie but by the time Hollywood produced it it was mediocre and flopped.

If you really wanna talk about what Female Hollywood has taken away from us, let’s start with the granddaddy of them all: "DIE HARD." One barefoot guy taking out a building full of terrorists, all by himself, to save his wife. AT CHRISTMAS TIME. The formula was simplicity itself: one MALE hero trapped in a confined location with terrorists + GUNS AND EXPLOSIONS. Add in a snarky villain like Alan Rickman's Hans Gruber - and the box office registers were ringing. Box office: $140.8 million domestic; $141.5 million international; $282.3 million worldwide, 1988 grosses. Spawned 4 sequels, a comic book, 6 video games, and COUNTLESS copycat pics including: Under Siege 1 & 2, Speed, Air Force One, Executive Decision, Con Air, Cliffhanger, The Rock, Sudden Death... The list goes on. Hard to believe today, but Hollywood once gave us MALE heroes who were flawed, funny, and utterly male. Bruce Willis' John McClane was a portrait of rugged individualism and "die hard" masculinity - and the world ate it up. But this was back when they knew people wanted clear, relatable stakes over moral ambiguity. This was when they wanted to MAKE money, not waste it on political messaging. This was when they wanted to ENTERTAIN US, not TRAIN US. "Die Hard" and its successors prove that Hollywood knows the value of strong men—they're just JEALOUS of us now.

@StaciBryant133 @SirBylHolte No. Everyone hates women starting in action movies where the woman is a feminist delusion of perfect female toughness. When it is EllenRipley or SarahConor, woman struggling on will power rather than physical power, people eat it up.

What kills the woke is the fact that it wasn’t just men who loved those movies. Everybody did, male and female. I think it’s been proven conclusively that everyone hates women starring in action roles. It sucks. It’s indoctrination/propaganda. It’s not entertainment. We like watching men blow shit up.

Not sure if you know this, Martina, but for nearly 5 decades the UN has promised Israel that southern Lebanon would be kept free of terror orgs (PLO then, Hezbollah now) threatening northern Israel. That promise has been repeatedly broken. UN Resolution 425 was passed in 1978 after the PLO attacked civilians in northern Israel and deployed UNIFIL to secure the area south of the Litani River. The PLO returned under UNIFIL's watch and kept attacking northern Israel. In 2006, after a devastating war that Hezbollah started, the UN passed Resolution 1701 explicitly demanding Hezbollah withdraw north of the Litani River, which the Lebanese government even signed onto. Hezbollah ignored all of it and over the next two decades built thousands of rocket positions, tunnels, and bunkers right under UNIFIL's nose. UNIFIL did nothing. Lebanon did nothing. The UN documented the violations and did nothing. Hezbollah started attacking Israel on October 8, 2023 and for two years kept launching rockets, paralyzing all of northern Israel, displacing tens of thousands of Israelis (many of them Arab and Druze) seeking shelter, and turning cities like Metula and Kiryat Shmona into ghost towns. At the end of 2024, another ceasefire agreement made the same demand for Hezbollah to withdraw north of the Litani river. Hezbollah violated it again, joining the Iran War. Multiple guarantees. Multiple violations. All by these terror orgs. And Israeli civilians paid the price. Israel has had enough: neither the Lebanese government nor the UN have the capability nor the will to enforce these commitments. Israel is now justly taking matters into their hands, and anyone who's clutching their pearls about it needs to explain exactly what it is Israel should do instead. Otherwise, they're being either willfully ignorant or dishonest.

@strxwmxn Southern part of Lebanon cannot be a buffer zone. Just how big a zone does one need? Those drones can hit from anywhere…as we are seeing now. Bombing civilian houses is surely not a solution

@Facts_onlyke @strxwmxn The only reason Israel was in Lebanon was because the PLO, after attempting to overthrow the government of Jordan, invaded Lebanon, and used it as a staging ground to repeatedly attack Israel

@strxwmxn If Israel had not invaded Lebanon there would be no Hezbollah, if Israel had given Palestine a state we wouldn't have Hamas. Injustice breeds resistance as he who is given justice does not come back with a sword , Israel didn't give justice they choose greed hence the sword .

Here's the thing: if you oppose birthright citizenship, that's an opinion you're allowed to hold. It's a free country. It means you support changing the United States Constitution, which very clearly and explicitly says anyone born on American soil is a citizen. But pretending that the U.S. Constitution doesn't say that, just because you don't like it, is a silly child's game. Birthright citizenship is a foundational principle of what America is all about, and no President, no matter how ignorant or delusional, is able to change that with the stroke of a pen. That's just not how America works. 🇺🇸

@Villagelde @shadihamid @PeterBeinart They really suck at the genocide and apartheid part, based upon the last few years. On the other hand, the Palestinians have done very well at persecuting Jews and massacring them when they have the opportunity, like on Oct 7.

I lay out my case to @PeterBeinart that forcing Israeli Jews to dissolve their own state would be undemocratic, even if we see that as a "just" outcome. But my argument is that it wouldn't be just because it wouldn't be democratic. Full episode: wisdomofcrowds.live/p/peter-beinar…

@shadihamid @PeterBeinart Notice how Israelis reshaping their state into an actual democracy that brings in the Palestinians they displaced and offers them citizenship is so far from the realm of possibility, you don’t even mention it? You can only conceive of it as an ethnostate, which isn’t democracy

You guys understand we’re going to lose the birthright citizenship case, right? Before you completely freak out, the traditional understanding of the 14th Amendment, which we are seeking to change, is not an insane reading of it. Nor are our arguments insane like the left has been same. That’s baloney to just shut us up. Neither side is frivolous. It’s a tough call legally and objectively speaking. But when we lose it, and I think we will, don’t freak out that this is some sort of conspiracy. It’s a hard legal decision. Sadly, we have three judges who aren’t even going to try to examine the question and will always vote for what leftists want. But the rest of the court has to make a tough legal call. I think our reading is the correct one. For various reasons, I think they’re going to rule against us. Don’t freak out when they do. It’s not an utterly irrational ruling like so many of the district court opinions we’ve seen.

@KurtSchlichter IANAL but I totally agree with your analysis. I hope SCOTUS rules that "while the Constitutional right to birthright citizenship is unclear, it has clearly become conventional Common Law, and is not subject to Executive override" leaving it open to Congressional change

You have to wonder if @BladeoftheS really believes this absurdity or if he's just professionally committed to economic illiteracy at this point. **134 years ago (1891):** • Life expectancy: 47 years • No electricity, running water, or indoor plumbing for most • No antibiotics (die from infections we cure with $10 pills) • No refrigeration (food spoils in days) • Average work week: 60+ hours of brutal manual labor • Child mortality: 1 in 5 children died before age 5 • No cars, phones, internet, or air conditioning • "Rich" meant: owning a horse **Today's "poor" American:** • Smartphone more powerful than 1990s supercomputers • Air conditioning, refrigeration, flush toilets, hot water on demand • Access to entire world's information instantly • Can watch any movie, listen to any song, communicate globally for free • Life expectancy: 77 years • Modern medicine that would seem like magic to 1891 • Obesity is a bigger health problem than starvation The capitalist on that cartoon created the wealth that gave you everything you take for granted while whining about "low wages" on your $800 iPhone. The "problem" didn't get worse. You got richer and lost perspective.
