Airstrikes can destroy targets. They can't occupy territory, dismantle a regime, or force a determined adversary to surrender. Meanwhile, the U.S. is burning through precision missiles that take years to replace while repeatedly signaling it has no intention of invading Iran. That's the contradiction. America is paying the costs of escalation without pursuing the only strategy that could fundamentally change the political outcome. You can't bomb your way to political victory.

The normalization of Trump is the most tragic event I've been witness to during my life. Twice? That's what's so unbelievable and why the world, who can see who and what he is with clarity, is shocked and has lost respect for the American people. It's no longer about Right versus Left. That is so previous century. Today it's between two competing epistemological realities. There is the one within which we are in, the one that everyone used to be in, and then there's the alternative one that branched away from the original in a twisted and disfigured way where up is now down, wrong is now right, division is better than unity, evil is excused, lies are accepted as truth, and where there can never be peace and harmony as long as the hated aren't suffering, dominated and ultimately destroyed. The site and sound of Trump should make every balanced and healthy adult recoil with revulsion. That half the country doesn't but sees him as desirable and, in some cases, divine, speaks to a far greater problem than Donald Trump himself..

As long as I live, I’ll never comprehend how our country could go on like it’s no big deal this abject fool is our president. Yeah, Trump’s crazy. But our electorate choosing him twice? Congress rolling over for him? Media normalizing him? That is utter insanity.

@kneerecon Taco Bell shouldn't be blamed. They identified the problem and pulled the produce from the restaurants. The blame goes to Taylor Farms 100%, who also happens to have a history of contamination issues.

Not surprisingly the word affordability wasn't in Trump's vocabulary until now. He has only recently learned the word groceries and that dumb is spelled with a "b".
