I used to admire highly accomplished people. Now I admire people who take nap in the afternoon without explaining it to anyone.

We often talk about what is something that build BY Indians FOR the world. Yes @WisprFlow is just that.
Tanay Kothari@tankots

we just discovered a hidden marketing opportunity no one is paying attention to. and it's happening in the streets of bangalore. US tech companies are burning millions on digital ads to reach bangalore. but the entire city is sitting in traffic, looking at the back of an auto rickshaw. not their phones. bangalore has some of the worst traffic in the world. the average person spends hours a day inside it. and almost no one in tech is using it to their advantage. so for @wisprflow's launch in india, we did something different. this week, 100 autos are driving through bangalore wrapped in wispr flow branding. if you're in the city this week, there's a chance the auto you're stuck behind is one of ours. send us a photo when you spot it!

@mainbhiengineer The stupidity of joining a party - when they have peaked years ago. There’s 0 upside. He missed a lifetime chance to make a career bet with huge upside potential.

Raghav Chadha losing more than 2M instgram followers tells us a lot He was at 14.6M before joining to BJP and now at 12.4M. This is like a 16% drop in followers in 2 days. If we assume Instagram has 30% daily active users that means half of the followers who are active on Instagram after the news of him joining BJP, unfollowed him. These are not bots, they are active followers who reacted to the news. Looks like Young voters are not liking anything associated with BJP as this moment. Ofcourse they've not seen any other Govt than Modi Govt in their life, and a population that changes relationship and jobs in every couple of months, you can't expect them to stick to a single party for 15 years. 2029 is going to be interesting.

Indian politics is race to the bottom now. Politicians across party lines very well know that what would appease the double digit IQ voter base.

@umedpratapsingh Jodhpur is not just the second largest city of the state, but also covers the entire western Rajasthan. Take AIIMS for instance, daily tens of thousands of people from far of villages of Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Jalore etc visit Jodhpur, as no other major city nearby

@threeoneonetwo Context matters. If college education is just around the corner, you are parting away with 20% of your wealth. But, if there are 10+ years then that 10 Cr liquid will atleast be 30 Cr. College education won’t hurt much.

If you detect slightly more people moving in one direction over another, follow them. If you keep following this “gradient” of human movement, you will eventually land on something interesting—a market, a parade, a birthday party, an outdoor dance, a festival. #KKtraveltips

Right now you’re largely experiencing the economy from a time when the Strait of Hormuz was open, because it takes many weeks for oil tankers to traverse the seas. You still experience the Strait as open, even though it’s been closed for weeks. But once that reality hits…

Paradox: If you see a baby located 90 light-years from Earth, right now it would be a 90-year-old, but you see it in your present, as a baby. While the light takes time to reach you, the baby grows and ages. When you look at the universe, you are always looking at the past.

There's a physicist at Stanford named Safi Bahcall who modeled this exact principle and the math is wild. He calls it "phase transitions in human networks." When you're stationary, your probability of a lucky event is limited to your existing surface area: the people you already know, the places you already go, the ideas you've already been exposed to. Your opportunity window is fixed. When you move, your collision rate with new nodes in a network increases nonlinearly. Double your movement (new conversations, new cities, new projects) and your probability of a serendipitous encounter doesn't double. It roughly quadruples. Because each new node connects you to their entire network, not just to them. Richard Wiseman ran a 10-year study at the University of Hertfordshire tracking self-described "lucky" and "unlucky" people. The single biggest differentiator wasn't IQ, education, or family money. Lucky people scored significantly higher on one trait: openness to experience. They talked to strangers more, varied their routines more, and said yes to invitations at nearly twice the rate. The "unlucky" group followed the same routes, ate at the same restaurants, and talked to the same 5 people. Their networks were closed loops. No new inputs, no new collisions. Luck isn't random. Luck is surface area. And surface area is a function of movement. The lobster emoji is doing more work than most people realize. Lobsters grow by shedding their shell when it gets too tight. The growth requires a period of total vulnerability. No protection, no armor, soft body exposed to the ocean. That's the cost of movement nobody posts about. You have to be uncomfortable first. The new shell only hardens after you've already moved.

After a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. Very few understand this role reversal. What looks like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Don't correct them harshly. Don't rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment.
