@topfloorinc@BlackMambaMilli@YieldCurve_ If you don’t mind me asking, what would you have as a “preferred” bet. I have VOO and QQQM as cores for my individual but I would also like to drip a little into individual stocks for possibly better returns. Granted the risk is bigger, but I’m okay with that.
Coca-Cola has raised its dividend for 64 years in a row
$KO pays a $2.12 dividend/share every year
With $1M invested in Coca-Cola, you’d receive $25,390/year
→ $10,000 invested in $KO 20 years ago would be worth $74,000 today with dividends reinvested
→ $10,000 invested 20 years in the S&P500 would be worth $85,000 today
The best part is Coca-Cola is recession proof and it shines as a defensive dividend king. Steadier through downturns, lower volatility, and reliable income (2.5% yield + consistent stock appreciation)
The fact it tracks so close to the S&P500 returns makes it a must have in your portfolio
I’m adding a few single stocks to my portfolio and $KO will be the only dividend stock
What would you rather have:
1. $0.01 in self-custodied Bitcoin
or
2. $100 billion you can convert into Bitcoin
Rationality chooses #2.
Congratulations, you’ve discovered that poverty is not sovereignty, capital creates optionality, and Bitcoin is the hurdle rate.
Your ideology lasted 0.4 seconds in the presence of liquidity.
Creating generational wealth is what I’m chasing after.
I don’t want to punch in at a 9-5, get up by alarm clock and be obligated to be at job place each week.
I want to live on my terms and on my own schedule.
That’s why I’m crazy about investing because that’s how I’ll escape that rat race.
I want to help others out along the way.
It is simple to get rich in Canada.
If you can’t make it anywhere, come here. There is no place on the planet where it is easier to be rich than in Canada.
Name one.
And if you aren’t rich here, you won’t be able to get rich anywhere. Sorry not sorry.
@OnlyContrarian@comic@TFTC21 His house really does look like a shipping container 😅, very small amount of land.. probably cookie cutter shipping containers the whole neighbourhood
@comic@TFTC21 It’s pathetic all you do is bash bitcoin while it’s in a bear market. The four year cycle remains intact.
Will you take it all back when it recovers all time highs next year? Fuckin retard living in a shipping container
@timoassi I aim for 10k, buy my Whoop everage is 7k daily. Thank god for golf and walking the course. Winter that average will lower substantially. negative 30 to 40 celsius in northern Canada doesnt get you walking much
My long term target for Bitcoin is $1,500,000 per coin.
My long term target for Ethereum is $31,500 per coin.
My long term target for XRP is negative $5 per coin.
@Borg_Cryptos Seems like it has been a steady decline. Dont know if we will see a huge capitulation event where proces drop 20-30% in one day but we may see a steady decline. Time will tell.
The house always wins.
Spain vs Argentina in the World Cup Final today. Millions of Canadians are betting right now.
Here's my Fanduel stats:
Winnings: $6,314
Bets: $6,650
Net: -$336
Looks small… but here’s the real cost.
Every dollar I bet was a dollar that didn’t go into my TFSA.
Those bets represent thousands in missed growth today and potentially $100K+ over the next 35–40 years.
Sports betting is designed so the house wins.
Your TFSA is designed so you win.
Stop feeding the house.
Start building your own.
@GuyTalksFinance As the dollar depreciates in todays terms, that mortgage you take out now will be pennies in terms of the value of the dollar. Inflation and debasement of the buying power of the dollar is mich higher that your 3-4% intrest rate for buying a home.
In 30 years (or less) the monthly payment for a home owner is almost nothing.
It doesn’t matter what the price of the house is valued at the owners can just live mortgage free.
Renters will always have a monthly payment and never own equity in their property.
