I mean, that kitchen scene - as good a piece of dramatic writing as you will ever see. The acting was incredible of course - but all the kudos to Sally Wainwright. It's all about the writing #HappyValley

@EastMidRailway you announce more disruption on 1 Dec and say some late night services may be cancelled. Yet you don't say which. This is disgraceful. Which services will be cancelled? I am supposed to be travelling back on the 9.30 train that evening. Will it run or not?

#1 Way to go @networkrail - pick the hottest week of August to work on the line near residential areas when we have no damn choice but to open windows and make the most noise you can. Four nights of interrupted sleep so far between 11pm and 4am. Thanks. Not.

You might have seen OVO & SSE in the news today. We recently sent an email to customers with energy saving tips that linked to a blog post. This blog should never have been written or sent to customers - it was embarrassingly unhelpful and poorly judged. We are sincerely sorry.

@mikegalsworthy It's astonishing how topsy-turvy this country is now: footballers have become respected and articulate representatives of our nation, while government ministers are frivolous rabble-rousing tabloid fluffers. Stranger still is that both seem quite comfortable with that reversal.
