Ann, while there is plenty to criticize about Abbott’s performance, insincerely pretending he meant that comment as a threat to your life as opposed to him merely saying he has other mechanisms available to compel you and your colleagues to return to fulfill your obligation is brazenly dishonest. We both live in a city consumed by violent crime and a justice system that has spent the last decade pretending that abandoning victims and roadblocking reporting to minimize the appearance of crime is “reform” while public officials often enjoy taxpayer funded personal security.

Finally made it into a theater to see Thunderbolts. It started well as the origin story of a group of anti-heroes and quasi-villains coming together to team up for good, but then descended into the absurdity of a superteam defeating a super-villain by working through their childhood and life traumas and then helping him process his history of abuse.

Who would you want for the Super Bowl halftime show that hasn’t done it yet? To me answer is easy: Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen. Both have big song catalogs that most know, both have music that translates to a stadium, both feel like no brainer choices to me.
