Slavery is part of human history and has been endured by every race of humans throughout the overwhelming majority of humankind. Currently, the only widespread lawful slavery occurring on this planet exists in parts of Asia and Africa and white people are not involved in any significant way beyond seeking to expose it. This reality in no way lessens the horrors of the Transatlantic slave trade that existed during the first 80 years of these United States and the two centuries that preceded its formation but the fiction that it enslavement is an exclusively White institution is a lie perpetuated by those seeking to justify racial hatred and division that willfully ignores the realities of those in bondage today. More importantly, it is the history of the Western World that was the large first portion of this planet to outlaw slavery and it did so in the USA at the expense of hundreds of thousands of lives of people of many ethnicities(but overwhelmingly white) who died fighting to end it. Possibly you should consider a holistic view of history that recognizes the evils of the past and promotes a unity moving forward that, hopefully, could result in a better America and world for everyone.
